Yes, from now on all of my arguments will consist entirely of "**** you" and "You're wrong". I mean, they already largely did, but it was nice knowing I had that safety net that boxrec provided if I ever felt the urge to back up my ****-talk.

Unfortunately Mr. Deeds is a completely unwatchable movie. Probably the worst of the entire Happy Madison Productions catalogue, which is really saying something.

We're in complete disagreement Sweet Pea. Mr Deeds is entirely watchable on the basis that Winona Ryder features. It sucks otherwise, no question.

Some entertaining Ryder flicks: Heathers, Edward Sissorhands, Age of Innocence, Mermaids, Girl, Interrupted, etc.

I'm delighted for her that she's got a pretty substantial part in Dan Arnvosky's next film. Talented director, he can't put a foot wrong.

I loved Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. Ever since then he's more or less survived on his reputation, as his films have been a lot more miss than hit. His most underrated flick was Bulletproof, with Damon Wayans, and it's really the only other comedy he's put out that I really enjoyed. Oddly enough, though, I'm one of few people who wasn't totally dismayed by Spanglish. I didn't think it was half bad. Otherwise, I've hated the majority of his movies, only a few others outside of the aforementioned being even passable in my eyes.

i see, well i am a big adam sandler fan and of course billy madison and happy gilmore are 1 and 2. spanglish was bad in my opinion but not nearly as bad as punch drunk love (worst movie i have ever seen) i still loves almost all of his movies though, i guess his stupid humor is just my thing.

What about his more dramatic turns in Punch Drunk Love and Funny People? Those were tolerable to me.

Sandler as a pure comedic actor definitely jumped the shark somewhere in the mid-late 90's.
