well, congrats. you just owned that dude. well done. i guess for him the difference is that the mayweeathers claimed that pac was one something so it must be true.

if pac retires after his next fight, he'll be remembered as a fighter who took on all comers and thrilled the fans with all out action.

if mayweather retires after mosley, he'll be remembered as an exceptionally gifted fighter who could have been one of the greatest if he did not take the path of least resistance.

Didn't they say that for the Cotto fight as well?

Actually, saw an article as far back as during Barerra II training camp when Pacquiao was in his late 20s and had 50+ fights already - he's already thinking of hanging the gloves before 30 then.

you gotta put things into perspective. when Roach asked Mosley to come down for a catchweight, Pac was at JrWW, not WW. Now he's had his last 2 fights at WW and Pac is willing to face anyone at the full 147lb limit, as shown with Mayweather and Clottey.

Its not like Mayweather and Clottey are easier targets than Cotto, yet Roach still asked for a catchweight against Cotto and not against Mayweather and Clottey. So there's no reason so believe that he would ask for a catchweight against Mosley anymore.

Wrong. Not every fighter when offered by the P4P#1 / Fighter of the decade / current face of boxing has left negotiations for a $40M+ when asked for a 24-day cut off blood test, unlimited random urine test (scientifically proven to be better than blood), blood+urine test right after fight.

    pot-kettle-black.

... #1s doesn't get dictated what to do.. they're the ones dictating. Ya dig?

I dont think he did own him really. The thing is Pac was asked to take the test and refused. Is it really realistic that someone would turn down $40 million out of principal (because they dont want to be dictated to by the Mayweathers)?

I think you will agree it is not realistic. Therefore Pacs legacy will be questioned forever (and rightly so).

That is precisely why he WANTS to win this election badly, to get rid of this type of corruption. In some ways he NEEDS to win the election, whether or not it suits us boxing fans.

I must have missed this news. Last i heard, Pac agreed to be tested (offered 24-day cutoff), but that offer got refused. How crazy to refuse such an offer for 40M+?
