That's the thing right there. Just about everytime it got rough for Mosley in the ring, it seemed as if he lost all confidence. He can go into the fight siked out, and pumped up, but he starts breaking down mentally when things aren't going his way. It's precisely what Floyd said he would capitalize on.
Won't argue with that and it seems that Nazim has spent a lot of time on this with Mosley. I remember watching an interview after the Margarito fight where Nazim was saying something along the lines of having to carefully monitor Mosley's confidence during camp before the fight. Very fine line. Maybe having Nazim will help him out in this area.
I agree....but I think a lot of that had to do with having his father in his corner who gave him zero instruction. I think having Nazim Richardson in his croner will give Shane added confidence as well as a solid gameplan coming into the fight. Mosely overpowered guys and overwhelmed them with his speed when he was at 135. But his physical attributes were largely negated as he moved up in weight...espeically at 154. I think if Mosely had gotten in real trainer earlier on, he wouldn't have taken as much punishment or as many losses throughout his career. That being said....i still think Mayweather wins this fight via UD.
Wow anytime Luke posts anything about mayweather he exposes himself s the 14 year old punk kid that he is who will come put from behind his keyboard he is the worst poster here, hands down. Say what you want about mayweather but he never breaks his gameplan no matter what and he forces everyone to fight his fight
Did Shane ever quite fighting in any fight he lost NO! He pushed on. If anyone dosent have respect for any fighter than you do not need to be on this site, i bet half the people on this site dont have heart to step in a boxing ring or cage in front of thousands of people. And for the record in every fight Shane lost he never quite fighting.
PBF is one of the smartest fighters I have ever seen. I agree that he is mentally strong. Hes never out of shape and I havent seen him get discouraged in the ring. In the Judah fight he could have stooped to Zabs level but he kept a cool head and handled his business.
STFU mother****er, go suck on pac's nuts. You up in here saying these lot idolize one boxer, mother****er you fantasise over fanny pacroid like there ain't no tomorrow.
I wouldn't say Shane gives up mentally at all. But I would say Floyd is about the most cool and collected guy out there right now. He's a ***** outside the ring though...
I think he showed some toughness in his fights with Jesus Chavez and Carlos hernandez, but I don't think he has Shane beat by any stretch. Anyone willing to fight winky wright twice has some balls.
The question isn't whether he gives up. Shane doesn't have any quit in him. But he has shown a tendency in a past to get discouraged when things don't go his way, and to be unable to adapt when his gameplan fails. He's not lacking in guts, but he also doesn't seem able to steel himself mentally when things aren't going his way, make adjustments, and push himself back into the fight. He just keeps doing what he was doing and looks progressively more deflated.
Pac cries too. And now you try to say PBF will loose to shane but when it came time to put your name down in the avatar bet thread you pussied out. Its just a silly forum avatar, man up and show some confidence in your picks
