You're right, Floyd arm length is 26" and Mosley is about 25". Fact remains that Mosley has a longer reach (wingspan) than most of Floyd's previous opponents. His reach and height advantages might help him in this fight.

The general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand- Sun Tzu

Boxing is a thinking man game.

Fact of the matter is just like in every other fight Floyd will potshot and outbox Mosley for majority of the rounds just like his previous forty opponents and win a UD and since he's winning I don't see nothing wrong with that....

Floyd will probably defeat Mosley in another boring UD victory but it's much better for boxing if Mosley upsets Floyd since down the road we will probably see the welter division linear championship and unification fight between Mosley and Pacquiao.

If Floyd wins, the fans will still be denied of a Pacquiao-Floyd fight since these 2 can't agree on the conditions for the fight. Pacquiao-Mosley is a much easier fight to make.

I think it is important to focus on timing as Floyd would be in better position to land accurate shots.

Well, Margarito had the exact opposite strategy and look what happened to him. Laid out and suspended indefinitely

Yeah Mosley would be facing the best fighter he's ever seen and I doubt that psychologically Shane is up for the task. He just seems happy to be on the big stage again. Unlike the guys that Shane beat or who beat Shane, Floyd is a more complete fighter ... he uses angles, he creates distance, he dictates the pace, he very sharp and accurrate.
