Gamboa belongs to another league and would wipe Celestino Caballero out of the map. Speed, power, technique and aggressiveness will be enough for caballero to lose in any round.

Gamboa would get rid of Juan Ma's dirty work so he has an excuse not to fight Caballero

I don't think so. Caballero is a tough fight for anyone 126 and below.

I love Gamboa and he will be my favorite fighter once Cotto retires but this fight will not be easy for him but I do think he would win it.

AS sad as it sounds (being myself on Juanma's bandwagon before) I think u r right.... Juanma is a lucky guy, he got a couple fast KO's, built a name way too quick, and got Arum's favor that way.... now Arum will milk him as the Alpha ho' of all goats, then, when the goat is dry, sacrifice him to Gambi, $$ cash out time!!! Either way Juanma wins... he probably never belonged there and it's always better than any alternative job to the one of a temporary boxing champ.... anyways, hope I'm wrong since Juanam is from motherland but tbh, I've never seen a puertorican run away from a fight like Juanma did from Caba... very dissapointing indeed! Good luck to him either way. !

    :rofl

Lucky? He's a PUERTO RICAN fighter. Bob Arum would take anything remotely resembling a potential champ from a boxing crazy country like that and milk it for more than it's actually worth. Bob Arum is the facilitator, Bruce Trampler is the architect. There's nothing lucky about it.

And BTFW... Bob and Bruce make ALL the calls on that as well. OBVIOUSLY. Lopez didn't run from ****. That's laughable.

He's right, Juanma is the first Puerto Rican fighter I have ever seen to straight up duck a worthy opponent like Caballero. Keep in mind that Juanma made some lame ass excuses about sanctioning fees costing too much to take a fight with Caballero and then Juanma has the nerve to request a million dollar payday to fight Caballero. I can go on and on but simple fact is that Juanma ducked Caballero.

    Definately would destroy Caballero.
I have always thought Caballero was overrated and JuanMa would also destroy him.

Gamboa takes him in a few rounds.

Surely you understand BOB ARUM decides who the Top Rank fighters fight, at this point? SURELY? ESPECIALLY young fighters like Lopez. ESPECIALLY.

Everything else is IMMATERIAL. Please. FACTS are FACTS.

Gamboa is a magician in the ring. His act involves hitting opponents with punches that they can't see and/or can't anticipate. He does this not only with hand speed but also by baiting his opponents into a false sense of security with the illusion that he's a stationary target that can be hit. Him dropping his hands is all part of the act.

Granted, such a tactic can be regarded as a deficiency particularly when you consider his history of being dropped. However his quickness, speed, and power advantages, that he has and will continue to regularly enjoy, is what allows him to be so chancy. And it's part of his signature which is symbolic for his overall high risk-high reward fighting style.

Gamboa could wide up getting KTFO when he eventually steps up and faces elite competition, I however think that the odds will be as good or better that the opposite happens, and I admit that I for one will be rooting for the latter.

That aint happening anytime soon, its obvious at the very least that you have a dislike for Gamboa.
