    Donavon 'Razor' Ruddock

But the King had to be Apollo Creed. Half of the original Rocky film was the MC going though a list of his nicknames; and that won a number of Oscars!

Now that's "gangsta". Rolls off the tongue real nice as well.

Swamp Donkey makes me laugh every single time. Personally, I don't think you can beat something like John "The Beast" Mugabi for its simplicity and intent. El Terrible and Too Sharp are up there.

"The Phantom of Philly" Tommy Loughren, Walcott's "Barbados Demon" Wilde's "the Ghost with the Hammer in his Hand" and Lew Jenkins "the Living Death" are probably my favorites.

I cannot abide those racist names from the early part of the 20th century. I will never, ever, call Sam Langford "the Boston Tar Baby." A tar baby, for those who don't know was a slur for black people back then. It's disrespectful. Sam had a better nickname anyway... "The Boston Terror." Much better.

Pop quiz: Where did Anthony "Six Heads" Lewis get his nickname? No googling allowed.
