The fight with Estrada could have been Adamek's last fight in the career. Adamek's friend Jacek Mazurek, offered him last Saturday a flight in his own Cessna. Adamek refused, because he was considering it as being too dangerous. The flight took place in Monday in NJ, pilot and all 4 passengers died.
Course he does Adamek is a quality operator , all Arreola has is a strenght advantage so assuming Adamek is smart I see him taking this
comes down to adamek fighting smart ot deciding to going to war. This is a fight where he can not afford to gas in the later round. If he tries to box, he should win, if he tries to knock Arreola out early, he might give this fight away...
This is the most exciting fight happening in the divsion at this point. Klitschko Chambers and Haye Ruiz are both fights I'm really looking forward to- but this one promises to be great :deal Arreola throws a lot for a big guy, has a solid chin, hits hard- Adamek is ****ed imo. I think unless Adamek hits very hard or boxes very well, Arreola will be willing to walk through TA's punches and will start hitting Adamek harder than he's ever been hit. If Arreola fights like he did against VK I think he'll win by stoppage
Arreola is extremely limited, slow and lacks defence but i think he would be too much for Adamek. I don't think Adamek has the reach, timing or power to give Arreola any real problems. I can see Adamek outboxing CA if he fights smart but i don't think he has the physicality needed to outbox CA. To outbox CA you need the reach advantage, Timing to catch him coming in and power to make him think twice before trying to walk through you. In my opinion there are only 3 fighters in the division at the moment who can do that (both Klits and Haye). The only other way is to beat CA at a slugging game and to do that you need good upper body movement, power, Strength to force CA back and solid chin to cope with what CA will hit you with... so in short no... i don't think Ademak has the tools... as much as i like him i don't like this match up for him.
I think that its one of the biggest Adamek's advantages - timing. Watch the knockdowns in the Cunningham and Banks fights. Also the second KD in Golota fight was because of his perfect timing. Probably Adamek isnt very powerful guy at HW, but when he hits clean on the beard, the opponent falls.
Arreola loses this and he is back fighting for national titles, if Adamek takes a bad loss then he move back down. Certainly a good fight for a change.
this is gonna be one of the sloppiest HW fights around. ive got arreola by late TKO but struggling greatly in the process.
