Yeah I agree, NOBODY in the history of the sport could beat Jones from the second Griffin fight! And that is at 175lbs, he was even faster and better maybe in the lighter weights.

There is a reason why Calzaghe waited to fight him and why Hopkins wouldn't take the 40% back then :deal

 

Toney, Hopkins and Hill alone are an excellent resume, especially if you consider that these were clear and dominant wins. Also, knocking out Griffin in one round is something that perhaps no other LHW in history could have done. Ruiz H2H craps on Benn, Eubank and others who Jones didn't fight, if he was such a ducker, why would he go up to HW and fight someone who beat Holyfield?

the point im making is roy was a waste of talent imo

he should have been put in the same sentence as those 2 but didnt have the courage or desire to prove himself and cement his true legacy

 

Jones is an outstanding boxer but to call him the best h2h of the history of boxing has to be called an opinion, not a fact. To say people have to accept it is plain stupid.

It's your opinion mate, not a fact. You have a case but I can make a case for Robinson, Leonard, Ali, and 50 other boxers.

 

yea he ducked all of them, like they had nothing to do with it and were jumping at the chance to take a whooping. Nigel Benn admitted in an interview years ago he didnt want to fight Jones, how is a 28 year old Hopkins not in his physical prime, Michael Nunn lost to Toney who Jones dominated years after Nunn was champ at middleweight, Calzaghe had every intent on raking up WBOgus defenses.

your being unrealistic dude, one fighter isnt the blame why fights didnt happen. All those guys you mentioned he will go down in history as the great more accomplsihed fighter.
