I fancy him against Katsidis i really do , but there are sharks in the water @135 and Mitchell if he beats Katsidis will be swimming amongst them !!!!!!

    Valero
    JMM
    Funeka
    Guzman
    Peterson

And so on !!!!!!! , how well can he do ????

i think mitchell will beat katsidis but after that i doubt we will see him up against those you have listed, possibly marquez is on the way out but mitchell aint a big enough name yet for that fight, a fight with soto would be very interesting.

expect murray to win the euro soon and mitchell will probly defend against him late this year.

    Guzman is a party piece.

After Funeka whoops him (again) it'll take him two years to come out of his shell.

    The guy is a joke.

As for the others.... I'm still not sold on Mitchell going above WBO level to a ''big 3'' world title unless the claimant isn't a particularly strong one.

    It'll be entertaining though.

I dont think Guzman is a party peice i beleive Funeka was a terrible stylistic match up and his freakish size and solid jab and extroardinary output makes him a deadly opponent for anybody @135 .

Overall though i agree with you good post mate !!! :good

I think Soto is a good fight for Mitchell not a particularly dangerous one bearing in mind the company he's in @135 though !!!!!

Id like to see him fight JMM after Katsidis but like you say he's high risk low reward at this stage of Marquez's career .

Personally i dont fancy Kevin with Valero or Funeka so will be interesting where Warren goes with him after Katsidis should he get through that !!!!

    I think he'll stop Katsidis.
Following that I think Gavin Rees & then Juan Diaz might be his first couple of defences.

I saw enough on mitchell in the Prescott fight to suggest he would more than handle himself against the divisions elite. Mitchell has good power, speed, reflexes, ring smarts and a chin. He could do with some elite level sparring in the states to take him to the next level.

I think he'll beat Katsidis (i hope Frank wins the purse bids on this one) have a manditory, maybe Diaz to get an American name then follow Khan to 140. Could even see Frank lining up Maidana to rub it in if Khan continues to avoid him.

Good call, they would be good fighters for him to beat and settle him in to the top class, if he gets past Katsidis like

He can beat Ree's but the rest I doubt he has a chance against.

i cant see him beating katsidis, however if he does he deserves alot of respect and a few softish winnable defences against the likes as rees and diaz as mentioned above

Katsidis, in my opinion, beats Mitchell badly and he will either quit or stay around European level.

Me too but it is a fantastic fight to make and to be honest I thought he would struggle with Prescott so maybe he pulls off something special...I still fancy Katsidis to TKO him though.
