Grzegorz Proksa, southpaw boxer from Poland fighting Tyan Booth at MW for EBU-EU in London, Feb 2010. After the fight Proksa claimed that he doesnt have any problems with making LMW limit too. He may fight both at MW and LMW. Proksa has been aiming for longer time in EBU title, but he is being avoided by champions. Time for bigger fights now.

This guy's been brought along very slowly, and on consistently crappy opposition (not saying that it's his fault). He has a lot of talent but his tendency to leave his hands at his waist and showboat will get him into all sorts of trouble when he steps up to real competition.

He has had a very VERY frustrating career so far. Lots of setbacks, lots of opponents ducking him, injuries, problems with promoters. Whole bunch of headaches.

He needs a good trainer to smooth off the rough edges, and sign with a good promoter. He seems so natural with what he does. A hot prospect right here.

Thats true. Its not his fault, Proksa always says that he is ready for big fights, he just doesnt get them. He is a very dangerous fighter and doesnt have a big recognition, so nobody meaningful wants to fight him.

Good point. However I think that his aim was to provoke the opponent to attack, and then counterpunch. I guess that he is not dumb and will not leave the hands vs puncher. Althought it might be interesting, because then it would be a war

True. I think that Proksa is the biggest talent in polish boxing since Adamek.
