Looks a cracking little fight, hope it gets shown as the winner should be right in the title mix, any views on how it will go and how the winner will go on against the likes of lenny daws, frankie gavin etc...

I said in another post with regard to Gavin/Watson.

Gavin should be watching this with real interest.

Watson has probably lost his shot at any titles. He slipped up too many times.

    I mean past domestic level,

I think he took on Petrucci on short notice for the EBU belt and got KO/TKO'd? but i still couldnt see him going to European level if he was on his A-game

watson is a top fighter he should by rights still be commonwealth champ and he's beat some decent fighters so to say he's not gonna be picking up titles is a bit silly!

Gregs right here. He is a decent fighter.

Beat Hatton comfortably. Should have gotten the nod over O'Donnell. Was beaten soundly by Petrucci but took it on short notice

He's a decent enough domestic guy. He'll probably fanny his way to the euro stage by fighting for a VACANT ( I hate vacant fights) title against a latvian bum.

Although on paper it looks a great fight, it should be a comfortable enough win for Watson. I'm still looking forward to it though :good

Thought Watson sneaked the O'Donnell fight and O'Donnell is a level above Barrie Jones....If Watson is up for it and in good shape he'll pull off a comfortable points win against Jones....could prove a tricky night for him though

Watson was robbed in the o'donnell fight, a rematch was surely warranted, Anyway i believe that daws would outpoint watson if they ever met up.

Daws is a light welter and Watson is a welter... Watson has the style to beat Daws!!
