shane is being overrated at this stage of his career. He's still good but he's no longer that good.

His whole career is overrated. No fighter with such an ordinary resume has been so exalted. If you really think about it, Shane has exactly TWO really notable wins in his career...a prime De La Hoya, and Margarito.

He was an "admitted" and "unwitting" steroid user.

He was also bad enough for Manny to duck even at this advanced stage in his career. :think

It depends on how you see things. Manny Pac is great but I started a thread right before the Cotto fight that I still stand by. It asked whether or not Cotto was chosen over Mosley because Cotto was another DLH, that is, a converted southpaw who's greatest punch is the left jab and left hook, the right hand being a secondary weapon. I thought the better win would have been over Mosley but as seeing that his right hand is dominant could that have been the reason for choosing Cotto? Not taking anything away from Pac cuz that was a damn good win but it's a question still unanswered. Cotto beat Shane but in a close fight in which Shane took the final rounds and had Cotto on the backfoot and if the round went two more imo Cotto would have been ko'd.

    Fail?

He just ducked Mayweather so he could fight the guy Cotto defeated.

You said proven. It was never proven. He admitted it. He could be lying or wrong for all we know. Point is that people use PEDs all of the time. Asking for precautions in the most lucrative fight in history is NOT strange. It actually makes perfect sense.

Full coverage requirements on financed cars...
    Primary mortgage insurance on houses...
    Insurance and bonding on contractors...
    Bar tests for attorneys...
    and on and on...

Are you kidding? The dude's ONLY loses are to prime HOF's. Wow.

You dare say that crap and you think Manny isn't overrated? Diaz? His two biggest wins were an emaciated shadow and sloppy KO seconds?

You write legit stuff at times. Are you writing this stuff just trying to stay on people's good side?
