that's too dismissive and considering that andrade has a chin like froch's but has been reduced to challenger status while froch continues to flourish tells you something.

agreed, kessler is a technically sound stand up fighter, but one who can't adapt to slicksters which is robably what you were referring to.

i still favour kessler for this fight, but i think it's important to remember how far froch has got with a limited arsenal.

this will be harder than an andrade fight, believe that.

Yeah thats what i was referring to, listen im not saying Kessler is chinny but we dont really know either way, for all we know he might have a great chin or a shaky chin.

Im just thinking of different intangibles the fight could hinge on for either man. I think Kessler will win but im just trying to think of a way Froch could possibly win, not because im a fan but because im trying be fair to both men.

    agreed.
andrade and froch are a good comparison in one sense because neither are slick fighters, but froch has a lot of faith in his never say die attitude and you can't help but admire the man for the way he beat taylor.

I would like to find the footage cause Kessler was out on his feet and recovered very quickly.

I'll scour the web for a vid. Be right back.

Froch is a bum and by the way Direll beat him so cut it out, he can only fight one way. I'll put cash o. It that Froch doesn't win another fight in the tournament, he's one of those fighter that are easily exposed because they can't adust their style in the ring.

we all know that about froch, but it still doesn't change the fact that dirrell was too cautious and didn't do enough to win the fight.
froch didn't beat dirrell but neither did dirrell do enough.

froch's limited but he's carved out of wood, so instead of saying he's a "bum", how about giving the man credit for pushing **** uphill for so long and still coming out on top.

sure he will fall, and soon i bet, but damn the man will not die guessing..

    full respect to froch.

Gotta be honest and i thought the same at the time, that did not look like a particularly hard punch imo, plus Sartison is a guy that squares himself up which takes ever more pop off your right hand, because you dont get full range of motion when you rotate into the punch if your fighting square.

If you watch the replays then you will notice Kessler never saw the shot coming. It's the shots you don't see coming that hurts you the most.

    Thats true.

Anyway, anyone is allowed get hurt now and then so its not a real biggy, hell even Mayweather has been rocked by an average puncher in Corley.

In theory, Kessler is right. His mental toughnes is to be questioned though. Will Kessler be able to put his gameplan in application throughout the fight or will Froch be able to bring him on his ground? Will it be a slugfest?
Also, Froch has seen the Kessler-Ward fight and Kessler is better to be prepared for a dirty fight.

Talent v talent, Kessler should win but he made me a doubter after Calzaghe and Ward.

I think Kessler admitted to being hurt by a body shot in the Calzaghe fight

kessler was definitely hurt to the body in that fight.
it was about round 5 and i clearly remember kessler reacting to it.
