I'm not all that surprised with them listing Carbajal first. He fought more titlists at the weight than any other, and does have a good resume. Of course, we all know Chang would have been too much for him h2h, but let's not dismiss Michael's credentials at the weight. Unified, holds a knockout win over prime Humberto Gonzalez, 2 defenses of his lineal title.

Gonzalez proved to be better in a series. Chang beat guys like Torres, Zapata, Ohashi and Chitalada. Thats a proper mint resume.

Which is why he should be ranked higher, but Carbajal accomplished a lot as a Light Flyweight, nevermind winning the title back over the age of 30. When both Michael and Humberto were at their best, it was Carbajal who got the victory in an infinitely more memorable matchup then the return bouts.

Carbajal is ranked no1 by the ring simply because he is American and had the higher profile.

Though really there is a close enough gap between them that they can get away with it.

Great! Gracias for putting this up. Chang is a class act and easily one of my favorite fighters!
