calzaghe and ward showed kessler's limits as a fighter, but the limits he showed against slick fighters won't be his downfall against froch.

I actually think Kessler could be just as dangerous in a shoot out because he punches straight whilst Froch doesn't, he also compromise technique when he gets excited, plus he is slow and ****.

There was a point in the Kessler/Calzaghe fight where Calzaghe came in on the line trying to flurry with wide punches and Kessler nailed him coming in because he was throwing the straight punches.

Kessler will have the advantage early in the fight while Froch's spontaneous single shot haymaker style will make him the more dangerous fighter in the latter rounds.

    Tough fight to call.

he did hit Joe with some big uppercuts, that just showed how underated calzaghes chin was though.

With regards to this fight though, i'm a brit so i'd like to see Froch win, but it's gonna be a great fight whatever. A proper war i reckon. Froch is a machine with a massive workrate, and so much stamina. I think Kessler is gonna struggle to stop him. If Kessler wins it's by decision, If Froch wins it's by TKO.

Good recovery by kessler. But if Froch catches him like that he will not let him off half as easy, he bully him into at least a KD. Froch is going to eat a lot of leather either way.

anyone on here think kessler is over hyped??? i mean the only top fighter he ever fought was joe and i remember him being in trouble in that fight mid-rounds from a body shot. other then that,he has been fighting european level fighters for years...exept andrade who is not that great anyway. kessler looked shot against ward and dirrell's refusal too fight made froch look bad. i see froch stopping kessler late on.

Froch has an awesome chin an iron will and good power. But he has no skills. He wins because he is a tough SOB. Against kessler I don't think it will be enough. Kessler will not have to solve a puzzle like he did against Joe and ward. I'm going with kessler by ko round 7.

only an englishman says "dirrell's refusal to fight made froch look bad" after just saying in the same breath that kessler looked shot against ward.

neither kessler nor froch can handle slicksters so just say it.
kessler is a technically better fighter than froch so this should be a great fight all things considered.

Kessler might well be over-hyped. He's looked pretty average against two very quick fighters in Calzaghe and Ward,

But one thing is for sure, he always looks on top form against fighters with poor movement who stand right in front of him. If Froch goes in there with his hands down and tries to walk Kessler down, I only see one outcome - Kessler landing his jab time and time again and throwing his lethal power shots straight down the middle.

Don't get me wrong, Froch will have his moments - his will to win and refusal to take a step back will give Kessler things to think about, but Froch will have to be in top form to beat Kessler in his own back yard, in my opinion.
