Maywweather wants drugs testsMayweather wants Olympic-style drug testing.
Pacquiao won't let Mayweather make the rules.

Whatever their motives, both have substance to their claims. Pacquiao has no obligation to bow to Mayweather's demands and give him a psychological advantage. But boxing's drug testing policy is incapable of recognising sophisticated doping programmes, giving rise to major doubts about the legitimacy of it's athelete's accomplishments.

Freddie Roach has called the Nevada Athletic Commission "the best commission in the world" and "we go by the commission rules."
The only way better drug testing could enter the sport of boxing is if it's sanctioning bodies enforced it. But they're scared. They're scared of the cost of the testing and they're scared of what it could uncover.

They should do a vote on random blood testing in boxing, hopefully it gets voted the go ahead.... then Pac would have to fight Mayweather.

In fact, forget that, the fight will never happen, it saddens me to say because its the fight I want to see most but at least if Im realistic NOW, then it wont be a massive letdown when they **** it up again.

I pray to be wrong of course.

The fight, imo will not happen. Mosley/PBF will outsell Pac/Clottey (it's a better fight between 2 Americans with testing) and that spells the end of it. Either PBF will demand a 60% + purse split or Mosley pulls the upset. Either way, the fight is off.

The whole argument about Floyd getting a psychological advantage needs to be put to rest. If Pac went through with the random testing procedure things would be on a level playing field since Floyd had agreed to about 3 or 4 of Team Pac's stipulations. Throw in the fact that Floyd would undergo the tests himself makes the point even more clear. Floyd is not the underdog otherwise they wouldn't have agreed to a 50/50 split. I realize Pac shouldn't be forced into an agreement however I strongly suggest he put his selfishness aside and give in a little for the FANS. There are people practically begging to see the mega event. We all deserve to see the fight and both Floyd and Pac have to hold back their ego in order to negotiate.

Best way to make the fight happen is to take away some of the power that the two fighters have. They shouldn't be allowed to establish rules. It should be a situation where they show up only to compete much like a team game.

remove Bob Arum, like dawg said and the fight would be easy to make, people dont even see how from the moment he was asked about it after the Cotto fight he was in full I dont want this fight, mode, a lot of the turning down wasnt even manny it was bob turning **** down but saying he will stay out of it, alot of people say one man is not above the sport, when implying to mayweather, but there is ONE man who is above the sport, one man who has said **** the fans when asked about certain fights (gambo v lopez etc.) the same man who was milking Ali to brain damage the same man who gets a pass on put shitty card and putting greart fighters that at least should be exposed on regular tv (donaire) to small ethnic-centric pay per views to squeze every dollar out of a fighter for himself. Last rant just think of this all of his american born fighters going back to the 70's can not stand Bob Arum, but all of his foreign born fighters threat him like cool ol' grumpy grandpa why is that?

Yeah I don't understand why fighters or promoters get so much power. The sport of Boxing should decide on testing procedures, gloves/ring size, penalties, etc.
