Damm, this would make khan the unified wba/wbc/ibf champ of the world, the 3 supposedly most prestigeous belt. Meanwhile bradley will only have the wbo.

no khan shouldn't get a free shot at the winner of alexander vs urango, like all fighters after losing a fight he must climb the ladder again.

You genuinely think Khan will loose to paulie? Khan will outclass Mallignagi so bad if the odds where even close to even id bet my entire overdraft on it.

If you think it's a lock why don't you bet the overdraft anyway?

The problem for Khan is that he is going to get sparked out the moment a puncher lands. I like him and I am not one of the stupid chin checker mob who thinks chin is everything. But his chin is so bad that he needs to literally avoid any flush shots landing from a half decent puncher.

One clean shot from Urango and it's over. People are getting carried away, but in the Kotelnik fight he was back peddling and just trying to avoid being tagged for the last 2 rounds. If he hit hard then this would be less of an issue as he is so good offensively that he might take people out before they got a chance to walk him down. But he doesn't hit that hard, so the Bradleys and Urangos of this world can afford to lose round after round and now that they just need one big effort in the 9th or 10th when he has slowed a little and they can put him away.

I hope he proves me wrong, I would love it if he shut up the Zakmans of this world who are crowing over every KO they get right and pathetically obsessed with "chins". But I don't see him avoiding a KO again soon. Malignaggi is an easy fight and Maidana whilst a threat is wide open and can be hurt easily enough to mean that Khan could stop him before he gets tagged himself.
But the likes of Valero, Urango, Bradley.....I think they starch him.

**** happens in boxing. A cut, robbery, injury, whatever. Never worth the risk unless the reward is high.

Yeah I think GBP will keep a very close eye on the Alexander-Urango fight Mar 6th, this could be a very good route to get Khan 3 World titles at 140.

I think Alexander would defeat Khan quite convincingly. This guy is the future of the sport.

it'll be great for boxing but those kind of unifications hardly happen anymore they take a long time and by the time they happen fighters have lost or more in their records.. that's the problem with boxing nowadays the promoters want to protect their assests too much
