He wasnt the first to Buzz Valuev.. And to say he adapted his style is crap he fought the first the same way he fought the other eleven. He never intended to engage Valuev even if he hurt his hand a he claimed.

You seriously comparing their resumes? Wlad Resume Is a lot better then what Valuev or Mormeck, Barrett?... Not much to hold your hat on, Wlad has defeated two time belt holder Bird also Ibragimov and Mercer all 3 fought and won medals in the olympics An undefeated title holder Chagaev, Not to mention an undefeated brock and Peter... Thompson who had not lost in 8 years, and Ko'd former Lineal champ Rachman... He also ko'd Barrett while he was still in his prime and good... also Chagaev alone is better then anyone on Hayes record..... A hell of a lot more impressive then Haye.:deal Maybe you should look closer at your idols resume or shut the **** up..

Haye said: “Ruiz is a dull guy and perhaps so boring even I won’t be able to trash talk him.

“He has no personality and that is reflected in his marketability.

“He is from Puerto Rico but I have never met a Puerto Rican who claims him as their own.

“They say, ‘No he is American’. Speak to an American and they say, ‘No, he is Puerto Rican’.

“Nobody wants him. He is a two-time world heavyweight champion that nobody wants to fight.

“But he will be good for me. I can be more gung-ho against him. He hasn’t got the gangly arms Valuev has. I can do my usual stuff and it will come off.

“Now I have told my people to bounce any offers of reality TV. ”

Im not comparing resumes, Im saying that Vitali doesnt have a great one.

The post I quoted from was running down all of Hayes opponents. My point was that you could quite easily do that to Vitali's.

    i.e.

Brock - C standard heavyweight who's never beaten anyone decent

Peter - See above (and dont count a 75 year old Toney!)

    Barrett - Same again

Rahman - Shot and well over the hill by that point

In H2H terms, the Klitschko opposition totally destroys Haye's opposition. If we consider Schulz, Mercer, McCline, Byrd, Brewster (rematch), Brock, Chagaev as Wlad's best wins, nobody in Haye's resume beats these fighters, if all show up on their best night

Wlad dominated Chagaev, Vitali dominated a younf Larry Donald. Chagaev beat Valuev more convincingly than Haye and a 40 year old Donald was robbed against Valuev, who ist Haye's best win in H2H terms.

See the above post. Thats not my point.

Theyre all shite. Take at look at those stinkers.

Also, Vitali's had about 10 years to build up that CV. Haye's had about 18 months. It would hardly be fair to compare resumes would it?

And yet was around the same age as Valuev when Haye fought Valuev who by most peoples account lost to an ancient washed up holyfield a full year before the haye fight. So was Valuev shot and over the hill too

And on to hayes resume i noticed you didnt bring his up? what is his best win? and best competetion?

Vitali fought Lewis, Gomez, Hide, Sanders, Bird, Peter, Johnson ( kirk ) superior to what Haye has fought so no you really cant.

I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was along the lines of 'There are probably thousands of guys in America called Kevin Johnson, beating one of them doesn't make you the best fighter in the world' :yep

And congratulations to everyone who has ruined this thread. Same arguments going backwards and forwards as yesterday, the day before that, and the day before that... :verysad
