Crimetime again gutted! Carl wbc champ undefeated and this idiot cant even get him on national television. You gotta feel sorry for carl. Is it time to dump him?:smoke
Who are the alternatives? Warren needs a star right now, although he's trying to build Mitchell to fill that position. Also Froch and Haye were room mates in the Ams, and he seems to get along well with Hatton, so both these could be suitable alternatives.
Yes, worst promoter of all time. The guy should be a superstar yet is barely known in the general public and can't get on TV fighting in the biggest thing in boxing right now.. it's literally disgusting.
I wouldnt have thought Froch would be able to get away from him during this tournament, in which case it's probably not worth it as by the end of this tournament he's going to have had some defeats and a lot of punishment I think. The worst promoted fighter I have ever seen. He should be a national hero now like Haye or Hatton, yet half the people on the street havent a clue who the hell he is.
hennessy has not done to bad with froch got him the wbc and got him into the super 6 tournement had some of his fight on itv but i do agree if he was with warren he would be so much bigger
Damage is done really, it's too late. The fights that should have made him have been and gone. Crying shame.
Even casual fans of boxing who I know haven't heard of Froch, which is amazing when you think about it. They really should have capitalised on his dramatic come from behind victory against Taylor. A brit, fighting in a America, against an American, and he's the underdog.........and he knocks the favourite out in the closing seconds of the final round. Jesus, they should have made a lot of capital out of that. Not to mention his fight of the year candidate with Jean Pascal. He's been sold to the public very badly.
Mick seems to have done a reasonable job in matchmaking and getting Carl into the supersix in the first place. The lack of TV coverage though is woeful. Surely Carl would get a bit more money by getting a deal with ITV for less money than Sky, but then milking the promotional and sponsorship deals that would come his way afterwards? Question for the group though... If Carl was promoted by FW, do we think he would be in the Super six at all?
well hes not going to go to warren is he? they constantly make sly marks about each other. eg Froch saying he wasn't interested in the Warren Boxing Organisation belt.
 Sky are the only established TV station that are showing boxing and they're full to the rafters, what do you expect Mick to do? Mick can either give the fight to Sky for virtually fcuk all (as it doesn't look like they want it on SBO) or go the PPV route via Primetime. Mick must've decided he could get more money for himself & CARL by going the Primetime route. If you want somebody to blame then point the finger at ITV & BBC (& to a lesser extent Sky) who couldn't give a toss about boxing
