seems like quite a reasonable list, im not a mir fan, i tend to think he is quite overrated, but at the same time i am not sure who i would put in his place

He is the one guy who jumped out at me as well, but again like you, I couldn't think of a reasonable guy to replace him.

i think its his losses that bug me, and the fact he really has yet to "dominate" even a segment of his era

Lol at Mir being there. He won the title once(not counting interim bs title). He won the title once against Tim Sylvia. Sorry, no go. If anything 10 is the top position he could possibly have.

Frank Mir is very tough to rank as far as ATG heavyweights go.

He has some excellent wins. He was the first man ever to stop Big Nog, Brock Lesnar and Tim Sylvia. He is a former UFC heavyweight champion. A two-time champion if you count the Interim title. Those are real achievements.

But on the other hand he has some equally bad stoppage losses to guys like Ian Freeman and Marcio Cruz. Losing to Brandon Vera in 69 seconds isn't brilliant either. Not to mention Lesnar smashed him in their rematch.

I think Frank Mir's place in MMA heavyweight history will probably be decided by fights we have yet to see.

If you look at what Coleman actually accomplished vs what CroCop actually accomplished, Coleman is clearly ahead.

He beat Frye (twice), Goodridge, Severn and mostly guys who were smaller than him.

He's lost to the best fighters he's faced, barring the above mentioned folks.

Cro Cop's wins over Barnett easily trump anything Coleman has done... and we're not even bringing his kickboxing career into play.

    Cro Cop > Coleman easily.

Not to mention, Coleman got a serious asswhooping when they fought:
