You asked that question 3 times and no one can say why!!! All they can say is "this person or that person should be higher" but they really don't know why!!!!!
Well then if thats true then its fair to say AA beat Taylor because of his sence of vulnerability, And yeah PW deserves to be in the top ten but i dont think 3 is fair maby 5
It's because there is no reason. He's not a big name and doesn't have a real ethnic following. But these sportswriters... these proessional sportswriters who do this **** for a living, think he is #3 currently. 28 of them in fact. Not just one or two guys who write for the same newspaper. People just think that somehow he is undeserving because he isn;t as technically gifted or have the thrillling KO's as other fighters. But he wins. A lot. And he is willing to fight anyone, despite what pav fans want to say now. (The nerve of them)
Yeah I know So Pac, Wlad, AA, JMM, Lopez are all non-americans (I meant to say american and not north american) You have a puerto rican, mexican, Philippino, 2 Euros....how is the list bias???
Lopez is basically American(he's even an American citizen). All of those guys except Abraham have been fighting with regularity in the United States for several years. One could make an argument that these writers have not opened up their scope to the entire world and are simply making their rankings based off of fighters that are readilly available for their viewing pleasure. I'm not saying this is the case, but one could make that argument.
Not as much as me my man, but the calzaghe haters still say his victory over hopkins means **** all because of his age. The fact that even the ring has him in their top 5 is stupid too.
I think the list is a little off the track in terms of the ranking amongst the said fighters. Hopkins needs to be lower and I'd say Froch deserves a mention above Ward. He's proven in his last 3 fights that he is a world class p4p talent, whereas Ward's victory over Kessler seems to mean more than victories over pascal/taylor/dirrell. I'd certainly say it's a fantastic victory for him, but when you consider the double standards on these boards (i.e. people's constant berating of Calzaghe) and then consider Kessler lost to him, I can't see the logic in putting Ward above Froch. I'd hazard a guess that a large proportion of those who believe Ward genuinely deserves his position on the list, have at some point jumped on the Calzaghe hate-wagon, discrediting his resume (including the Kessler victory), yet still regard Ward's victory to be of great significance (which whilst I agree is true, do also believe Calzaghe was a fantastic champion). Not trying to turn this thread into a Calzaghe fanboy/bash thread, just justifying my opinion with some logical reasoning.
is this the list like the world series where only one country plays it??????? lots of very good fighters missing from a world sport. This is not USA USA USA!!
