Who are the fighters that are very talented, but their careers have been killed by bad managment and stagnated by bad opposistion.. A few i can think of Sturm Erdei Dzindurk John Dawson ( a little bit) guirellmo jones cunningham bika got any others?
scott harrison could have been very good at world level, the demon drink got him in the end.. ashame was a very exciting boxer 1 i loved watching..cant think of many others..:think
forgot about harisson, but i dont pity him.... apparently he used he talents to beat up on civilians when drunk:-(
Not exactly a waste but Joe Calzaghe. Would have a loss or two but in the ATG sense would be much higher than regarded.
Whoever's idea it was to put him in with McCall and Tua so early in his career is an idiot. That said, despite his fragile chin he had a decent career, but wasted his prime years as a journeyman because he kept fighting hard hitters. After he beat Rahman the first time he should have gone on to be a belt holder, he could have beaten Ruiz or Byrd. Chris John is a good example. He has good wins such as over JMM (controversial, but it counts) and his undefeated but still unknown outside of hardcore fans.
