    1. Ricky Hatton: fought 3 top five ranked P4P fighters so for me he had the better career.
    2. Darius Michalczewski
    3. Vernon Forrest
    3. Jermaine Taylor
    4. Jorge Arce

Damn...that list makes me cringe. How did you come up with those fighters? Only one of them is a sure-fire HOFer.

No interest in trying to rank those five.

Edit: Strange list to put together.

to be honest, not as bizzare as giving DM props and putting him first.
the ranking is suppose to be on a fighter's career, not how good you actually thought he could have been.

    Guys, lay off the OP.

There is a cohesive thread. All five were considered real forces in their prime, and fell short of long-term expectations for various reasons. Their overall achievements can easily be compared.

i can't believe people are giving DM props in this thread when it's related to achievement and not talent.

DM might have been a very talented fighter but ranking him above fighters who achieved something at the highest level is a slap in the face for those who did it imo.

23 title defenses is nothing? I know it's the WBO, but...

Ricky doesn't even have that many title fights.

add linear LHW title, unified champion, belts at LHW and CW, straight
48-0 record, his only fault is that he never fought Jones Jr.
