I don't think anyone would argue that Floyd has better technique, but thats not the question. In his prime RJJ was as close to unbeatable as I have ever seen. He gets a hard time on this board from the younger people who maybe only saw him from 03 on.

It's like when I was a kid and watched boxing with my old man. I always loved the younger guys, but he would tell me about all these old fighters and what they were in their primes. I always thought he was full of **** because I only saw them when they were over the hill.

Exactly. Roy is a H2H nightmare for almost any fighter in history from 160-175.

Jones and anyone who thinks otherwise has NO CASE. Jones is better in almost every department in athletic terms and a much better boxer. He's even more proven, and Jones gets knocked because of his record. RJJ is a H2H king from 160-175; Mayweather is nowhere near that anywhere other than 130. No contest.

Another Vote for Jones. A spectacular fighter in his prime.

both great talents but i've got to lean towards floyd because floyd has a chin and can adapt to a plan B when he needs to.

they are 2 huge advantages for floyd, especially when the going gets tough for a fighter.

    Roy Jones. No question.

There's got to be at least 20 places between them on an ATG list.

I agree. But if you look at both fighters three best wins Roy wins easily
