Bowe at his best would have been the most dangerous to these type of fighters, all would engage him and fight his type of fight. Just dont know how Bowe would stand up to the speed and power of prime Tyson but I think he beats all those other guys. Lewis looked horrible against Bruno for a few rounds couldnt get past his jab, and Bowe had a real good jab at his best.

Yeah Lewis struggled mightily with Bowe in the Olympics lol Seriously , Lewis Bruno was a freezing night fought outdoors. Bruno was at his best and Lewis his worst. Bowe had the right style to beat Holyfield, who else did he beat ? Look at Lewis v Golota and Bowe V Golota. Lewis would have blown Bowe away.

Witherspoon was going to be there all night against Bowe for certain. I think Spoon gives him hell with his great chin and crafty defense. He beats him just not every time.

    Bowe beats Smith.

Tyson might have some problems on some nights against Bowe, but he beats him.

Have you ever watched the olympic fight between the two? Did Bowe stay the same as a pro? Nice biased description of the two fighters.

You missed the lol point of my post re the olympics, and the word "seriously" straight after.

Bowe had a good trilogy against Holyfield , he did not beat anyone else of note.

Golota's bouts with him might just show his level, rather than show he was past it at that point. Beating and losing to Holyfield is nothing like fighting Lewis. Lewis' results against common foes are better and he boxed at a much higher level for longer.

Holyfield at his best is harder to fight than Lewis in my opinion. Holyfield doesnt have comparable one sided knockout losses to the same level of fighter. Holyfield fought longer and better at a higher level.
For the purpose of this discussion the Lewis that fought Bruno struggled, went onto to get knocked out by Mcall and went life and death with Ray Mercer, the same Mercer that blew his shot against Bowe by losing to Ferguson who Bowe blew away. In the meantime Bowe was at the top of his game knocking off a prime Evander Holyfield.
I believe the fight would have become more competitive as Lewis improved but using the olympics as a barometer as to how the fight would unfold is ridiculous when you consider how Bowe and Lewis progressed as pros respectively during this time period.
Remember Bowe beat Golota twice, causing him to quit in both fights. It wasnt Golota trying to punch to the body in those fights, it was Golota trying to get out of the fights, because he couldnt stop Bowe.

Like i said before you missed "LOL" and "seriously".

Holyfield does not have the one punch defeats Lewis had no. But the conversation is about Bowe. Holyfield did beat Bowe. He lost twice, but did win once. So who else of note did Bowe beat or are you deliberately sidestepping that point ? He had the style for Holyfield. If Golota can give him hell Lennox can. Lennox lost when he was not motivated against Rahman, unproffesional yes, but not gonna happen against Bowe. I can imagine McCall beating Bowe as he had the chin, power and size required. Beating Holyfield is an achievement, but that fight stylistically has no bearing on how he would do against Lewis. Other than to say Holyfield hurt Bowe, but never Lewis. Ditto Golota.

    Who else did Bowe beat ? Tyson ? Bruno ? McCall ? Rahman ? Klitchko ? Grant ? Mercer ? Morrison ? Ruddock ? Tua ? Briggs ? Tucker ?

There was a reason he dumped the big green belt in the trash rather than fight Lewis.

i think its prety unanimous bowe doesnt beat Lewis and tyson. Hes not guaranteed to be beat witherspoon.
On the subject of bonecrusher I dont think bowe beat anyone like him at that time. When bruno fought smith he was one of the biggest guys out there a raw talent and hungry. Before Bowe fought holyfield I think coetzer was about as closest to this version of smith but not as good. I dont think its guaranteed bowe beats crusher. He did not beat tubbs clearly and tubbs was the only real name bowe fought before he won the tittle.

Did you read my post? He could have faced Mercer, but Mercer lost. Briggs, Tua, and Grant, those guys werent even in contention at this time. Golota was the first from the group to step up and face a top notch fighter in Bowe. This theory of Bowe never facing punchers is a joke. Hide, Gonzalez, Seldon, and Golota were all decent punchers. What would a win over Morrison who at that time got blasted out by Mercer have done for Bowe?? Nothing. Bowe didnt avoid punchers, there is nothing to ever suggest he needed to, he wasnt hitting the deck in his fights. He kind of came at a transition in the division. Bowe fought his way into contention and won the mandatory WBA shot, he didnt duck anyone except possibly avoiding the WBC because of his corrupt connection to Don King who promoted Ruddock.
Bowe threw his belt in the trash because he was offered a multi fight contract with HBO which was worth in upwards of 100 million with a Lewis fight down the road. Certain things derailed the fight and that has made Bowe look like a ducker ever since, but I seriously doubt he was scared of Lewis because of his punching power or his loss in the olympics which was competitive, thats silly.
Your going to get a far tougher grueling fight from Holyfield then you would against Lewis in my opinion regardless of his power. Lewis would have never stood up to the back and forth brawling of Bowe Holy 1.

I beleve that 92-95 Bowe would have beaten Lewis. Tyson of the first Bruno fight was starting to show signs of slipping. It would have been close. Bowe would beat the Tyson of the second Bruno fight. Bowe beats any version ofWitherspoon and Smith.

Bowe ,I think ,had the potential to be as good as Lewis, he was a fine inside fighter for such a big man. He remains a , " what if " to me.

    A man child.
He must have broke Eddie Futch's heart.

That's debatable. I agree Lewis would never stood up to a back and forth brawling of Bowe-Holy 1, before I saw he fight Klitscho. But lewis simply brings way more to the table than Holyfield. Could you imagine Holyfield blasting out Ruddock, or even Golota? I can't.
