Big Frank dominates him with his heavy jab, ,then ,when resistance is depleted ,around the 5th, drops that monster right hand in and Rocky 's nose is buried in the resin. I have partaken of alcohol.:happy
LOOK! I love "The Rocker" as much as anyone else does but, in my opinion, Marciano doesn't fit in well against many POST 1960s heavyweights..... Contenders or champs........ He doesn't...... Of course he (Marciano) would beat a handful of guys from 1960 to 2010--in a time machine, but he'd also lose to a handful of guys as well...... I swear, I can name 20 heavyweight fighters (Contenders or Champs) over the last 50 yrs who would prolly give "The Rocker" a good old fashion ass kicking..... :yep:good:admin Hey, Franklin Bruno was an enigma, but he was big, strong and powerful... Plus, the bloke owned a lethal jab...... At 6' 4" tall and 225 to 247 pounds of marble statue muscle, I'd give Bruno a serious shot at beating Rocky Marciano in a time machine...... Marciano of 1954 or '55 against the Bruno who beat Ollie Mccall in London for the WBC title in 1995..... Who knows? :good POINT! Bruno was not afraid of McCall in 1995, but Bruno was scared SHITLESS of Mike Tyson in 1996..... Everything depends on Bruno's mentality going into the fight....... :hey:rasta MR.BILL:bbb
No he would not have, Bruno was a manufactured fighter carefully matched I saw most of his fights from ringside,he did not have the natural instincts of a fighter, he caught a distracted off form Tyson ,rocked him once ,but lacked the nous to finish the job,he did not have it,at top level.
Well, I think Bruno had the talent, size, power & jab to beat Tyson.... BUT! Bruno had not confidence at all..... At least not on the "A" level.... Had Bruno believed in himself and fought with more anger and determination, he'd been a better fighter....... Bruno brought too much of that "Gentleman Class" into the ring..... Gee, I hate that........ fire MR.BILL
Bruno is a Brit, not an Englishman ,but obviously some of our instincts and values have become infused in his physche.Play up ,play up ,and, play the game, the gallant ,sporting British loser.
Sorry, but Marciano at 5' 10" tall and 188 pounds of muscle isn't as intimidating as a 5' 11" tall / 220 lb. musclebound Tyson with a scowl on his face.. Tyson was scary; Marciano was not scary looking..... :deal MR.BILL
I'm sorry.... I'm not hip to English, British or Welsh culture..... BUT! You all are basically from the same land mass........ :deal MR.BILL
