A guy who lost to a declining Morales and arguably lost to JMM at 130 and who's best win at 135 is over the very mediocre Diaz is NOT beating an ATG like chavez at that weight!

Pac is good but damn is he getting overrated!

Don't even get me started what i can dig against Chavez, i can say really mean things against his career atleast twice as better what you just exaggerately say.

As the saying goes, in sports you're only as good as your last fight. Look at how people now look at Cotto, people forgots how he outboxed Mosley. I am even being generous here, by saying Pac's last 4 fights.

JCC win full stop is acceptable. However, It's totally being a hater if anyone will say a very wide / EASY win by JCC. Some even say a murder.

    I say they are idiots.

Because: IN PAC'S LAST 4 FIGHTS HIS PERFORMANCE IS AROUND 3 LEAGUES AWAY FROM HIS OPPONENT, THE GAP OR DIFFERENCE IS UNSURMOUNTABLE. HENCE, IT'S HARD TO GAUGE HOW REALLY GOOD HE IS. SO SAYING, SOMEONE'S GONNA BEAT HIM BADLY WITHIN HIS WEIGHT CLASSES IS JUST BEING A HATER. MAKING AN ARGUMENT BY IGNORING HIS LAST 4 FIGHTS (or cherry picking his not so good performances which "all" fighters have) AND MAKING A CASE AS FAR BACK AS HIS 2001 (122 LBS) FIGHT AGAINST MORALES AND JMM - IS BEING BIAS.

At 140 and 147, I shall go with Pacquaio.

At 135, it might be even.

At 130, I have to favor Chavez.

Both guys counterpunched their way to victory. I dont remember Chavez doing that. Sure Morales came forward now and again but only when he saw an opening, he wasnt constantly there to be tagged as Chavez would be. Both fights were also below 135 to begin with.

Barrera/Marquez & possibly Cotto (his next few fights will tell).

And dont bother telling me Barrera was past it. It was his second weight class, on his best streak ever, 3 p4p and he would go on to become 130lb champ and even give JMM a handful years later.

    Good

Honestly though, I've had that debate a hundred times before in this forum and its tiresome to go over and over it again. I know what the things you will point out already and Im guessing you already know what Im gonna point out.

1 thing stands though, you claimed it to be fact, I think it was more a matter of opinion :deal

The "Fact :deal" bit was sarcasm aimed at the post I was replying to.

At 140 and under, Chavez. If your defense is suspect, and Pacqiaos is, you don't beat Chavez. He'll tear you up. And Pacqiao isn't goning to be able to bomb a prime chavez out of there.

    Chavez Tko-9.
