It could be a fight on tv or you fighting personally, a workout, anything related to boxing.. Mine would be Castillo Vs Corrales that fight got me more interested in boxing and i remember one day i got in a zone while working out i felt like i i could run, spar, hit the heavy bag and jump rope nonstop without getting tired i wish everyday was like that

my best experience was running and working out when i was reaching my fitness peak and, in my mind and body too, i had already conquered whatever workout was going to be put infront of me before i did it.

getting in surpeme shape is the best drug in the world, and when you achieve it all (and i mean ALL) the blood, sweat and tears that got you to this point make it 100% worth it.

in boxing, my best experience would have been sparring with australian HW champ jimmy thunder, which i was slated to do when iwas in the amateurs.

    but it never eventuated dammit

Well once, when I was fighter amateur, I was in against this strong ass Dominican guy. Everyone thought I was gonna lose. Anyway, in the first round, he kept charging me, pinning me against the ropes, or trying to, anyway. So, after a few of his predictable charges, I timed him. As he was lunging in, I stepped to the left, and caught him with a right hook that landed squarely on his face. I could feel his face give, I swear to God. He pitched forward, and fell flat on his face...and didn't get up for a good 30 seconds. That was actually my only KO in my short-lived amateur career.

Now, as far as fights I've watched, words can't describe the euphoria I felt on November 14th, 2009. I was heavily supporting my boy, and was outnumbered in the bar I was in. After the fight, my voice was almost gone from all the yelling I was doing. I was so damn excited. I was also drunk, and I remember hugging - literally embracing - this other guy in the bar, who was one of the few going for the same guy. After the fight, I was running around, giving high-fives to all the Filipinos. I think I was more excited than them!

My happiest moment was going with my dad to see Holyfield/Lewis I in MSG. It was an amazing experience (even the shitty decision) that I'll never forget. My dad worked what seemed like 24/7 so for him to take a day off to take me to a mega fight was awesome.

Other great moments I've had are talking basketball with Shane Mosley during the undercard of a GBP show he was appearing at and being there live for Cotto/Mosley.

Well, the two that come to mind both involve Mike Tyson. of course, one is the Douglas fight, which I watched with my brother at his apartment. Neither of us could believe what was happening and it took a few rounds for it to sink in that, yes, Tyson was losing the fight, badly.

The second is when Holyfield beat him the first time. People don't remember, but this was also a HUGE upset at the time. I'm a big Holyfield fan, and at the time he was widely perceived to be done. Everybody thought Tyson was gonna blow him away, and some were even fearing for his life. Well, Evander showed them who was "the man," and it is still abosolutely one of my greatest experiences in boxing.

Yeah right. I am tired of those threads with fraud and pac. I just look at Pacs now because he is my favorite and frauds I dont, it bothers me how everyone has some many opinions

I had a cousin who was in town to watch some guy named Manny Pacquiao vs some other guy named Juan Manuel Marquez in March 2004. I told him I'd meet him at the fight. Went to the box office, paid 50 bucks and it turned out to be one of the best fights that year. I was thrilled at the fact that it was 50 bucks compared to today's outrageous prices for a boxing match in Vegas. Didn't have a clue who either fighter was up to that time.

After that, I figured I could give boxing a go. So I walked into the gym, laced em up, got punched and walked right back out.:rofl

Another good memory was earlier this year. There was Oliver McCall on one of the cards here at the New Orleans Casino.

I'm takin' a **** in the bathroom, and in walks this shirtless guy with boxing gloves followed by a guy in a red coat. The Red Coated guy was with the Nevada State Athletic Commission and his job was to keep an eye on his fighter (Oliver McCall) at ALL times once the gloves are laced. Even if it meant taking a **** apparently. Once McCall walked in, everyone took a **** as quickly as possible including me and walked right out to avoid him.
