No its not unanamous!! I think Bowe would have kod Lewis late especially the one that fought Bruno, Your critique of Bowe is way off. You really think Mccall would beat Bowe? He would win a convincing decision over Mccall.

And what the Hell are you talking about when you say that Bowe fought similar opponents to Bruno with SImilar results:huh Bowe only lost once to Holyfield and Bruno got his ass beat quite a few times. Bowes prime was not that long thats why his quality of opponents is not that long, but in his prime he beat a prime ATG 2x. Something Lewis has never done.
Bowe would win a razor close decision over Spoon
He would decision Bonecrusher fairly easy.
Hed stop Lewis late, although i give Lewis a chance early.
Im 50/50 on Tyson Bowe If Bowe can get past 7 rounds i like him late but there is a chance he might not make it that far.

Hed knock out Bruno in 5

    Riddick bowe FRANK BRUNO
    pierre coetzer tko7 1992 Pierre coetzer tko8 1992
    jesse ferguson ko2 1993 jesse ferguson TKO1 1994
    Roldofo Marin tko2 1991 Roldofo Marin KO1 1995
    Philipp Brown tko3 1991 philipp brown wpts 10 1984

I think this proves Bruno and Bowe fought simular guys with simular results. Bowe would posibly beat bruno but its an even fight, thats not the question it was does bowe beat the guys who beat bruno?

You obviously get all your opinions off of Boxing record. Over years of watching boxing you will learn that dont mean ****:yep Got to consider when those opponents were in there prime, or actually just watch them fight. Marin was a journeyman at best phillip brown was 7 years aprart. Anyways i get the impression you are new to boxing that you cant go by how so and so did against so and so.:patsch Go to the General FOrum and feed them some of this bull****.!

Bowe never really proved himself against big KO punchers, and turned down legitimate chances to fight the two biggest punchers available at the time, Lewis and Ruddock. I wouldn't favor him over Tyson and certainly not Lewis, and even how he'd handle more flawed/limited punchers like Witherspoon or Bruno is suspect. Bruno at least proved he could hold his own against big punchers by beating Coetzee and McCall and outfighting Witherspoon and Bonecrusher until late in the fights.

What track record against punchers does Bowe have that would reaffirm that for sure?

What track record says Mcall was a big puncher? Knocking out Lewis?

Took a lot of punches from Holy. Holy might not have been a huge bomber but he was a sharp puncher and he tested Bowes chin time and time again, Also a drained Bowe took a lot from a big punching and big heavy Golota. How the hell can Bowes chin be questioned:huh His chin was like Lamottas compared to China chinned Lewis

    For starters, yes.

Throw in his one-shot KO of Akinwande (never stopped otherwise) and a few other decent stoppage wins and it's pretty clear the man can crack.

Bowe's ability to handle punchers was always considered questionable, from the amateurs all through his pro career; that's nothing knew. He didn't go through those fights with Holy and Golota without being down and badly hurt. Moreover, Golota never showed himself to be a puncher on par with someone like McCall; he doesn't have KOs wins as explosive and/or meaningful as McCall's.

As for comparing Bowe's and Lewis' chins, look at their respective fights against Tyrell Biggs. Bowe was clearly wobbled by Biggs' punches whereas Lewis stormed right through them with no problem. Lewis has been through punishing battles too (ie: vs. Mercer) and not gone down.

When it comes down to it bottom line Bowe has gone through being hurt and survived, Lewis hasnt hes been ktfod 2x! Golota hit as hard as Mccall did . Mccall he kod china chinned lewis and Maskeuv, and couldnt ko china chinned Bruno.

Nothing suggests he hits any harder than say Bruce Seldon. Combine that with his **** boxing skills and he really isnt much more of a threat. Mcall couldnt even KO a walking dead man in Bruno who everyone of any merit stopped. Akinwande wasnt much of anything after the Lewis fight.
Bowe was far superior in skill set to Smith and Mcall. Spoon was decent but not on Bowes level at his best. Lewis that fought Bruno was not the fighter of 97 in my opinion.
Again, I really dont know why people think he avoided punchers, there is nothing to suggest he should have. He wasnt getting dropped in fights or really even hurt much until he started sliding big time.

Lewis was wobbled and knocked down by Akinwande and Mavrovic cant remember which one did which? Mercer is another one who is overated as a puncher. Who else has he KO'd besides Morrison who we know had a bad chin? Morrison is one who should have avoided punchers.

Not at at all! I used to box and have been involved in boxing my entire life. One of my cousins even fought frank and i have met many former world champions socialy. I was merely answering you as you seemed not to understand the "simular results against simular guys" statment. Bowe and frank had 4 common oponents. Your the one who wasnt aware my freind.:nono

an old witherspoon did just as well against gonzales as bowe did when tim was way past his best. You cant count on spoon to beat anyone decent because he was so unreliable in title fights but he did beter against tubbs than bowe did also. I think bowe is flattered by the holyfield fights to some degree.

Gonzalez had beaten Bowe in the olympics, was undefeated and showed to be a big puncher against **** competition. Bowe destroyed the guy, took his spirit, his chin and ruined him. It was one of the most brutal beatings Ive ever seen in boxing. Gonzalez had to take his lumps after the show he put on before the fight.
That being said all fighters have a shot at knocking guys out, especially on this level, but Bowe was leagues ahead of Smith and Mcall as far as boxing ability. Lewis and Tyson were definitely on a different level. Again I dont think Bowe avoided punchers. Hide, Gonzalez, Golota, Seldon, all had decent KO percentages, and even though a fighter like Gonzalez hadnt fought top level opposition, there was still a big unknown coming into the Bowe fight because he was knocking everyone else out. Same with Golota, when he faced Bowe he had a lot of stoppages, even stopping Nicholson who was highly touted coming into their fight.
