I would. Bisping is all good when against a lesser opponent. When trading with a veteran he holds back.Good for him...that's why he lost.:deal
I guess he does fight like a *****, he doesn't sit on his punches and it looks like he wants to run away the moment he throws a punch. All Wand had to do was rush him the second the fight started and it would of been over. No chin plus being scared to engage=a ko waiting to happen. Oh and how could anyone consider this match a good fight for him? He was seconds away from being pounded out on the ground....
Well that's the thing right there, you just said it. You said against a LESSER opponent. Fighters aren't always gonna treat fighters like lesser competition. The higher the level of opposition, the tougher the task. Wand has found himself on the losing side plenty of times. And you also have to understand Bisping was knocked out a couple of fights ago. That's still in the back of his mind. He doesn't want that to happen again. Movement is a part of fighting. And as far as your comment about when Bisping "trades with a veteran he holds back", can you please tell me, how many vets he's really fought? Cause to my understanding, he's fought 3 straight vets in his last 3 fights and beat 1 of them in Kang. Losing to Henderson & Silva is no shame at all. He's not losing to chumps. Henderson & Silva are future HOF'ers.
You answered your own question...Hendo and Wandy. Bisping is good not great. He talks alot but does not neccesarily deliver. He's getting better though, and if he sticks to it he may just be a legit contender in the next 2 years when the current greats get too old. Till then he's just another guy being held back from the title from guys that are better. Simple as that.
He looked very good in the first round, but seemed to hand the initiative away over the next two (or had it taken away); seemed a bit too tentative. He put in a decent performance though. It was a tight affair.
:good I can't understand this "*****" **** either Jimmie!! The man has recently fought Dan Henderson & Wanderlei Silva ffs!! No "*****" does that. I guess the O.P is frustrated with Bisping's style of fighting, but that is simply the way he fights and there are numerous far more "Boring" fighters out there. And of course, Bisping is proving far more effective at 185 than he ever would have been at 205.
Bisping is a gatekeeper. Losing to Hendo is one thing but Silva is on the slide and he should be beaten him.
SO he is even. Won a fight he lost..and lost a fight ((HE FELT)) he won. I look at it as a loss. Tought Silva did more to win this fight.
oh move on with this hamill **** jesus! tell u what bisping got my respect now! and silvas! who are u to call a 'fighter' a *****? if bispings a 'can' how come he beat kang and pushed wandy to a razor thin decision? hes still developing too.
I think Wand fought the near perfect fight. He really needed a win and caution was in order. He could have finished the fight in earlier rounds if he had blitzed Bisping as he did in the last 30 seconds. Great win and great strategy and under the circumstances. I see Wand stepping it up a bit and taking more chances in his next fight.
