    Was Salvador Sanchez ever dropped?

Also I don't think Eder Jofre was ever floored.

Sanchez had one of the greatest chins ever, but he was dropped by Juan Escobar early in his career.

Isn't that amazing when you consider that great fighters/punchers like Gomez,Nelson and Lopez couldn't do anything with him.

You would be surprised that even the greatest chins can be caught at the right at time, especially when young and inexperienced.

Also many of those journeyman from Mexico might not be the best of techinichal fighters but a lot of big punchers even on the journeyman and clubfighting level

Eddie Gregg was the 1st to officially drop him. I think in the 9th or 10th round of their bout, which was won by Gregg on decision. Then the Collier fight followed that. But I had heard alot of buzz of the Collier fight not being on the level. Regardless, back to the subject, I don't believe Billy Graham or Henry Clark ever hit the canvas.

A push may have followed that big punch, but it was unneccesary, as Jake would have gone down without it. Jake struggled up at 6 or 7. The push was like the grazing left that Marciano hit Walcott with..a superfluous follow through.

Chuvalo was dropped by Bonavena, Cobb was KO'd by Ballard, Joey Archer got staggered by Carter and Mims but his knee never touched the canvas. I don't believe Joey ever got dropped and he fought and beat DickTiger,Carter,Mims, I thought he beat Griffith, an Old Robinson(Joey dropped SRR) ....Archer had solid wiskers
