Mitchell vs Khan wont happen :good.

Not in the next 2 years at least. Mitchell has only just stepped up to Lightweight. He won't be chasing 140 for a good while. And IMO he wont hold a title for too long (if he does at all) so Khan will have no interest in him

 

i think the english or commonwealth at least by the eng of the year

 

And the main obstacle to the fight happening (Warren) is now out of the way.

Mitchell is singin it from the roof tops he wants a fight with Khan , if he does Katsidis in style and has a tune up in between this thing is realistic , i think Golden Boy may look at it as an easy payday , whether Mitchell can jump to 140 and handle Khan's power is up for debate , but the lad looks ****in huge @135 you never know .

Nah I doubt it pal.

Not saying it wont happen but for me Khan has, Paulie and then Hatton this year. He'll still have Maidana, Diaz, Ortiz, Bradley and Marquez on the horizon. Don't foregt his main aim at the moment is to make a name for himself in the states. Mitchell wont be in his plans for a fews years yet (unitl Kev makes a names for himsefl)

 

Thats definatley true , i think if Hatton takes Khan providing he gets past JMM that is ............ British boxing fans should boycott the fight , it would be a massacre imo .

If Mitchell keeps singing Khans name i cant help biut think a good domestic fight at world level for any British fighter is too tempting than the likes of Ortiz , Maidana , Diaz etc in front of 4 or 5 thousand in the Palms in Vegas .

personally i think with the right trainer and if he makes weight within reason i think hatton cud have abit more to offer than people give him credit for
