    One of my pet hates is when close fights are labelled robberies. There's no ****in way any of these fights were robberies;

    Winky-Taylor
    Taylor-Spinks
    Hagler-Leonard
    Williams-Martinez

    These were just close fights.

    This does not make sense to me...:huh

    Why would the USA Team file a complaint, if PBF had beaten Todorov so convincingly and his hand was raised??

    Mayweather had officially lost the fight, its believed by some that the Russian Mob had pulled strings to get Todorov the victory.

    Mayweather thought he won, the ref thought Mayweather won, even Todorov thought Mayweather won. Mayweather out landed the guy and in the 3rd round the ref should have taken a point.

    thanks for posting it. I believe that a lot of people that speak of this match as a robbery haven't watched in years. Anyway watched it without sound because the crowd was reacting to every attempt from Floyd. For me is OK if you think he won it but it wasn't the most outrageous robbery in boxing history. There are plenty of shots for both boxers that are not scored and I think the only way to score it correctly is by watching it on slow mode. They are both freaking fast.

    Heard so much about this legendary "robbery" that I had to look it up.

    Verdict: The robbery term is superfluous in this case. The fight was closer than most people think, as reflected by the varied scoring.
    It was one of those cases which all depended on what style of fighting you liked.

    The fact that the French audience was booing Pernell might also have influenced the scoring!
