    there is that !!:good
why did fleischer stick his nose in too ?? as inept as walcott was, the count should not have started with ali hovering.ali was mad because he knew he hadn't hit liston hard enough to drop him.
    the fight stunk.

What was Liston supposed to do, wait on the canvas for 10 minutes? He got up knowing the count of 10 was well over.

Why is Whitaker only 'probably' and Everett 'definitely'? You can find links with the latter, just like you can with loads of Don King promotions/judges (for every Lou Tress there's a Marcos Torres or Franz Marti).

I believe it is a matter of fact the Everett fight was fixed, but only assumed that the Whitaker one was.

Some say Foreman had some fixed fights early in his career, along with Eric "Butterbean" Esch.

Mickey Walker openly admitted to occasionally carrying opponents in his autobiography, doing it once when boxing a friend of Al Capone's as a favor to Capone. (He explicitly wrote that Capone did not threaten him over this, but simply asked that Walker not hurt his friend.)

Any sort of evidence (even anecdotal) that suggests some of Tyson's later fights were fixed? The one that comes to mind of course is Bruce Seldon.

There is a smoke vs fire issue here.

If you insist on actual proof, then it must be a short list.

If you are talking about strong suspicion, then the rabbit hole goes verry deep indeed.

good point janitor. i'm always skeptical when fighters claim they themselves took dives against lesser fighters. sorry but upsets happen and it's certainly a conflict of interest (ie: gans/mcgovern, johnson/willard)

Boo Boo Hoff's affiliation with Tunney raised alot of eyebrows, and alot of questions.
