Hopefully we will find out soon. He is a slick boxer and I would have him as the third best heavyweight (even though I don't think he did enough to beat Valuev, if he was more positive in the fight he would have). I'm not going to deny he doesn't have skills but the Klits will work the jab on him for a few rounds and eventually put him down in the late rounds. He is too chinny. In another era, David Haye would be on the fringes of the top fighters level. A dim light is bright in the dark.
yeah i suppose you could be right! ya know what tho, i dont know where all this 'chinny' talk comes from! i mean, the last time haye was down (excluding the monty barrett fight where he hit him while he was on the canvas) was against mormek, and he recovered almost instantly! thats another good reason why i want haye to fight one of the brothers, i wanna know how chinny he REALLY is!! :think
In the first round Haye establishes his dominant jab over Lewis, with Lewis' face already showing markings by the end of the round. In the second round Haye starts to slip the Lewis jab and punishes Lewis with an overhand right, time and time again. In the 3rd round, Haye builds on the foundation he has already layed and starts digging savage body shots when he ducks under Lewis' right hands. In the 4th round, Haye's previous body work has noticeably slowed Lewis down thus making him an easy target for Haye's Left rip to the body, then immediate left hook to the head, opening a cut over Lewis' right eye. In the 5th round, Lewis' left eye is almost closed due to swelling from all the jabs and overhand rights Haye has been landing and the cut over his right eye has worsened as a result of all the left hooks Haye has landed. Haye show no mercy or let up with his body work. In the 6th round, Lewis has spat out his mouth piece and is breathing very heavily, he knows the end is near. In sheer desperation, Lewis leads with a right uppercut which Haye times to perfection by sliding his head back and then launching his own thunderous right hand on Lewis' chin, knocking Lewis to the ground, where he is counted out by the ref.
Throwing a lot of shots but not connecting and having to deal with, and being overwhelmed by, the firestorm that is David Haye.
**** betty lennox whould beat haye realy though haye is paper champ he beat value barely an he was made to order the same guy holyfield competitve with nickolie an there is a reason he wont fight big fluid guy like wlad or big stromg jab like vitaly cause it would end his paper rein an to answer your question lewis abeter version of vitali an wlad an would blow david 'the verbal haymaker' haye out of water
This would go like The Lewis -Briggs fight except Lennox would take out Haye quicker. It would be competetive and intresting early with Haye possibly putting a scare into Lewis, but Lewis would shake it off and finish Haye around the 4th round.
