Tip: Fight took place in 71', and yes the commentator (Bob "Colonel" Sheridan was right about this specific fighter :deal)
hmmmm.... tough one for me as i dont know my boxing history as well as i should. Let me think.... :think
"i don't claim to be the best. i only fight the best." "he's the j-lo of boxing." "that referee should be pistol whipped" "let me put some water on your balls." "i'm gonna **** you until you love." "what a piece of **** you turned out to be! what a ****ing piece of **** you turned out to be."
I'd like to add one more: "Dynamite punches by _______ rapid fire, left and right. And finally, ________ appeals to the referee to stop the fight, he thinks ____ ____ is helpless" A tip: Probably the most vicious TKO ever.:-( **** THE REF
Glen Johnson, cant remember what fight.... Not sure lol Morales's trainer? lol.... i wanna say the 2nd pac fight lol? Tyson to Lewis at the PC Normon Stone.... cant think of the fight. So pretty much i was only able to answer 2 confidently, the others not so sure, dont know, or cant name what fight along with the guy who said it.
Two quotes from the same guy, during the same fight: "Those punches couldn't take away the power from a mouse." "You know, I've got to admit a certain prejudice here. There are times when I watch xxxx, if I was a referee, I'd wanna take a point away from him for non performance. This is a lot of junk with what he's giving us here." This one doesn't pertain to the thread topic too well, and is not an exact quote. I saw it at King's Gym in Oakland, and I would imagine is in several gyms across America: "The harder you train, the luckier you get."
i've seen that at kings gym. i also like the one that say "boxers are ordinary people with extraordinary determination." charles king says one that i've constantly used on my students, "winners do what losers don't want to do."
I remember that one now that you mention it. Both sound familiar. Both are great quotes. Very motivational.
