bONIN? tHE hEAVY HE k.o'D IN A ROUND? iF YOU WANNA SEE A SLOPPY FINISHER, WATCH vALERO. uNLIKE hAYE HE HAS NO GOOD STOPPAGES (eNZO, mORMECK) TO HIS NAME oops caps :good
Valero has no good stoppages to his name:huh Mosquera and De Marco were superb stoppage victories, sloppy finishers do not have 100% ko records at world level.
Theres no such thing as a sloppy finish ! .... if you can stop a fellow fighter thats good enough for me ... :good
Gurov didn't need to be finished of, he didn't get back to his feet once put down. The Mormeck finish was good though. However I kinda agree with the statement that he isn't the best finisher; once he hurt Enzo Mac he threw about a dozen superfluous shots. The one that actually connected put Enzo down properly.
Haye vs Bonin. The ref jumps in before Bonin takes any more punishment. Haye doesnt even get hit and puts him down 3 times in a round. Bonin has only ever been stopped once before and that was dubious, and its Hayes debut. what the **** else do you want him to do?? How about watch Enzo Macceranelli, Gurov, Barret and Mormeck fights. He gets them hurt and then finishes them.
Nothing odd about it at all, if you watch those fights you will see him getting overexcited and clubbing away like an amateur, matter of fact i just remembered, he did the same thing against Enzo. If you guys wanna look at his KO's of opponents as an indicator that he is a decent/capable finisher then........ That bad finishing got him gassed and KFTO against Thompson it will cost him again imo. Im amazed he has gotten away with it thus far, one of the days he is gonna get himself nailed in the process. Ray Leonard is a great finisher, Pryor is a great finisher, not because they invariably KO the opponent but because their accuracy and coolness in situations when the opponent is hurt, Haye is wreckless, wild and amateurish, now im not comparing Haye to them but im pointing out that being a good finisher does not equal a high KO%. Tell me Haye looked a composed accurate finisher against Bonin, Enzo and Williams.
