    He certainly does. He was just a victim of the times, they had all these KO artists and sluggers going around and here was a quiet, slick little white guy displaying the science, maybe he should've had a philthy mouth like Malignaggi or fought with his face like Ward.

    Let me tell you i have a foot fetish in boxing, no not like that lol I mean I love to watch exceptional foot work from a boxer and the way Bones Adams and Erik Morales use to plant and shift their feet was a thing of beauty. Morales was such a emotional fighter it would kill me because I knew he was so technically sound.

    Slightly off topic (potentially), Robin Reid never looked the same after his split decision win over Cherifi. Lost to Malinga next so potentially it could have been that which caused his downfall, but I remember after that loss people were putting it down to him being hospitalised after the Cherifi fight. He did have a relatively decent record after it (slim loss to Joe and challenging Lacy for a belt) but he didnt look near his best after that fight for me.

    :good Cherifi had the habit of making fights hard trench wars and i remember Reid really go into deep waters. He never ever looked peak again and although he for some beat Calzaghe and Ottke he never ever looked the star he once looked.

    Tshifhiwa Munyai...remember this lad battering Haskins and Power and Frank Maloney really thinking he had a world class fighter on his hands. Big Bantamweight at 5'9 with telescopic arms and hurtful jab i witnessed him in the flesh i felt this lad would take some beating...then for some reason he was made to fight meaningless 6-8 rounders and ended up losing two weights above his natural weight against the man Paul Truscott beat for the Commonwealth title Akaba. Tshifhiwa has gone on to win Two bouts since but boy has his career stalled since and what a force he could of been if pushed in right direction.

    Wilfredo Gomez ditched a fair bit of his nuanced punch-picking following his loss to Sanchez. Still sublime, but never quite as punch-perfect genius as he was against Zarate and Davila.

    Ray Bautista?

    The only fight of his that I have seen after the De Leon one was the one he lost, but he looked terrible in it. Still has plenty of time on his side though.

    I felt for him that night. Like a lil boy against a man...i hoped he could do it....cos never been sold on Ponce De Leon...i felt Boom Boom had the power to tag him... :patsch wishful thinking. He can come again....depends on his mentality. Huge pressure on him that night the local mayor of his town said if he wins he would pay for the town to have a new road built in his area which was just a mud path...having lost that road wasn't built. poor sod :lol:

    I'm just about to leave work myself, but had to throw in Ike Quartey. Potentially already on the down slide before his fight with Oscar, but still...

    And yes, BB's part 2 is a killer.
