Prime Roy had a decent chin........

What if you don't need a plan B? I cannot recall a prime Jones needing a plan B.... Sometimes you are good enough and your opponent cant disrupt your plan A....

If I have your plan b crap down right, it means the ability to adjust in the middle of a fight right? When things are not going your way?

Roy never had to in his prime, you could make a case for Roy against Griffin in the first fight.... I wouldn't say it was a plan B, but he started having his way with Griffin before he was disqualified. What a shame that was, because that would have put Roy at 50-0 before losing a fight, and Roy certainly had him beat.

As for plan B, I would say Roy had one in the rematch.... Griffin took his first loss, prime as a fighter, in the first round.

Also, arguments can be made for Jones having a plan B in the first Tarver fight. Tarver was working Jones on the ropes early.... I believe Jones thought he would be able to counter on the ropes all night.

When It was not working like he would have liked, he started going to the body in the center of the ring. Roy's power shots to Tarver's body won Roy the fight.

Tarver bragged about his big lips not being busted, I wonder how his body felt? He sure was wincing and taking Roy's feints.

So yeah, I would say Roy arguably has showed a couple cases of having a plan B.

I'm not sure he's a much better boxer, Jones relied heavily on his physical attributes.

Jones in his prime was a freak of nature.....

Prime Jones is top 3 within his range 160-175....

Not a knock on Mayweather just homage to the all time greatness of prime Jones....

Stylistically, RJJ would be a nightmare for PBF. He is quick, powerful puncher, hands-in-the-pocket puncher, unconventional and great head movement. PBF has trouble with these kind of fighters.

PBF can pot shot to a decision. RJJ just need one quick power shot and it is over.

    RJJ by a good margin.
