just when you said that cotto couldnt beat paulie i was explaining the differences between cotto and khan. khan is a much MUCH faster fighter than cotto and cotto is a much much stronger fighter than khan, so you cant say that because paulie withstood cotto it means khan cant stop him. im not talking about khan knocking him out, i mean a stoppage.

also, if paulie has the same opinions about khan as you have, he is in for a very rude awakening on fight night!! i cant believe you cant see what khan has to offer.:patsch

i like paulie but im british so ive been watching khan for years so i know what that boy can do and i tell ya, It WILL be a stoppage for khan!!! :bbb

I think Khan will win the fight, but by close, competitive decision. Paulie is a tough kid and I doubt he'll get stopped. He also has no power, so he won't stop Khan. To me, the safe bet is a decision, and in this I'll say Khan squeaks it out by a round or 2 or 3.

I can's see a way that Khan will not stop Paulie. Over the course of 12 rounds I can't see Paulie being able to walk through Khan's speed and the subsequent punch power that brings.

Dont see him actually knocking him out but depending on the ref i can see Paulie stopped on his feet under a barrage of punches , Khan likes to go a bit Joe calzaghe if he thinks he can force the stoppage.

`And to a post further up , why should mcgirt have let the hatton fight finish ? Paulie was getting absolutley detroyed , was a country mile behind on the cards and just taking more punishment. The only way he could have won from where he was is KO and there was no way that was happening so why take punishment for no reason ?

malignaggi might be a dick, but the guy can take a beating. he took his beating from cotto, and the only reason hatton stopped him is because buddy mcgirt once again stopped his fighter, and malignaggi could of finished that fight on his feet. he wasn't going to get knocked out, that's for sure against hatton, so i'll be surprised if khan stops malignaggi.

that's very true, and i agree with that, but i still think in my opinion that expecting khan to stop malignaggi is a rather big expectation when regarding malignaggi has faced bigger punchers than khan and has not been knocked out. now i know boxing doesn't always work out like that as accumulation of punches can also play a huge effect in stopping fighters, but overall, i'll be surprised if khan manages to stop malignaggi. i think roach is letting his personal opinion of malignaggi get in the way, which is not good really.

I think Khan's power at 140 is improved, the shots that hurt you are the one you dont see coming, Khan is fast, crazy fast.

Khan is going to shock Paulie with his speed and KO/TKO him around 7th 8th round.

fair enough mate, you could be right too.

i dont think khan will knock him out but i can see khan cornering him a few times and ripping him with constant barrages of punches until the ref steps in. but i cant see khan flooring malignaggi :D

well it'll be interesting to see. i personally can see khan flooring malignaggi, just not stopping him, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. i'll pick a very wide U/D for khan.
