I think Chavez was stronger at 140. Don't be fooled by the Randall fight. Frankie was on horse steroids. JCC was old. JCC would have won that fight if it wasn't for the point deductions. Randall took monster shots in that fight. No way Pac takes those. Not even with HGH. Maybe, with horse roids.

If the horse steroids is just an accusation as opposed to a proven fact, you need to stop this ****...now.

Chavez beats him unless the bout is at 147lbs, possibly even 140lbs.

Ive always conceded that JMM will be a very tough fight for Pac, at any weight JMM is not at big disadvantage at. I disagree with Chavez being able to fight like JMM, completely different type of fighters. Chavez isnt anymore 2 handed than MAB, MAB definitely had a right hand although his left was much better. Chavez is a lot more like MAB than he is JMM.

JMM & Morales both have long right hands, a nightmare for someone like Pac who's defense consist of jumping back. Whereas with most fighters he would jump out and be out of reach, Morales & JMM throw their right hand such that it reaches further than usual, you see Pac getting caught with it all the time despite jumping out the way.

Comparing JMM & Chavez as counterpunchers is like comparing Benitez & Duran as counterpunchers...sure they both counterpunch but in a completely different style and I dont think they make a good comparison.

They weren't banned at the time. Not to mention he was coked the **** out. Refused to test. Got caught for PED's. But of course he didn't take them for the biggest fight of his life.

No-one has ever achieved the best win of their career when they were shot. As a statement, it fundamentally does not make sense. You are dead wrong. :good

For me it's difficult to pick a winner. Both fighters eat opponents up that come towards them and they are both relentless punching machines. I think Pac is more versatile and has a speed advantage much like Taylor. But we have seen how Chavez just grinds guys down and I think Pac despite his improved movement will happily be there to be hit. Either way we will see a war breakout between these two.

With a gun to my head I'd pick Pac simply because I have never seen an opponent been able to physically wear him down in any way and his biggest weakness to the right is not Chavez's best weapon. Also with Pacs workrate I can see him doing enough to just edge in it.

In the autobiography Oscar pretty much says he thought Chavez was an ******* too.

Chavez does have that ******* "air" about him.

I agree, JCC was never a good WW (147) & Id give Pacquiao the edge on points here but anywhere from 130-140 Id favour Chavez & possibly by stoppage.... he has the defence to make Pac waste a lot of punches & the accuracy to make him pay... & often.

He was brilliant at cutting off the ring & IMPO had one of the best chins of all time - Manny couldnt rock Chavez never mind KO him.

Chavez would make Manny fight inside by sheer pressure pressure pressure & he wouldnt be outboxed on the outside either, he`d get the better punches off there too despite throwing less.

Chavez was better than Pacquiao.... both outright & H2H.

Chavez by clear UD or 11/12 rd TKO.

    No doubt :good

Pac wouldnt beat Chavez at 140 lbs pre Whitaker.
