he ruined Lacy who was feared before their fight.took Kess's
0 who was touted as the guy to be the next SMW supremo
if he come back and whipped Dawson at LHW that would be
elevated to ultra-legend status.especially with his hand problems and the Yanks would be :|:|:| again as would Teke.:yep

He's done Stiff , He won't fight Dawson either as it would only get him a Lacy sort of response from most of the America boxing public, They would say ,,"yea but who did Dawson ever beat" ? an ageing Johnson , a shot Tarver an Adamek struggling to make weight ? ? Unless Joe has spunked away his millions which i'm pretty sure he hasn't we won't be seeing him in a ring again . BTW i'm looking forward to seeing Johnson fight Cloud for the IBF title in April . that and Pascal v Dawson , the division still has some decent fights without Joe coming back .

Well i wouldn't really want to see that record broken when you take into consideration as good as Joe's undefeated run was with the WBO it was only a shared title until he added the WBC & WBA titles to it ( lets forget he dumped the IBF for a minute ) late in his career .
Rocks record was forged mostly in a five year run as the Undisputed Heavy Weight Champion of the World , Joe said as much recently when asked would he go on to break it .

Yeah beating hopkins for the ring belt and adding the name he wanted for so long in rjj to his resume really took away from his super middleweight legacy  phony

I can imagine you typing things on here wearing a cone hat with a big D on the front.

Clearly i was being facetious, and clearly the phony remark was not directed at calzaghe.

    Nice try though crackpot :hi:

I bet you wish you had led with this 'hilarious barb' instead of sharing your stupidity straight off the bat. Hi crackpot :hi:

    At Stiflers Mum:

I don't think calzaghe got screwed like ray parlour did in the courts but he was never really making the mega bucks other fighters of his stature were making. I don't know whether you heard about about frank warren not paying him money for the hopkins fight but it was recently in the news that he is trying to pursue that money in court again. Also a comeback is unlikely as he seems to be becoming more of a media personality in retirement than when he was active and earning money that way.

Saying that It would be nice to see him fight bute who seems stylistically similar :deal

thanks in the lead up to Kessler where Kessler was chasing him i used to read the Joe Calzaghe forum for news etc. because you didnt have to join. he chasing Taylor,Hopkins back then and some posters there reckoned he was chasing American money fights because
of the divorce.worked out well in the end unifying SMW and getting the LHW ring belt beating a couple of American legends.

:patsch **** you really are a troll Luds .Just scraping past an aged Borenard Hopkins impressed you ? THE NAME HE WANTED? Now i'm a Calzaghe fan from about 20 years back ( yea this non boxing fan saw him fight amature that far back ) but him fighting RJJ was **** all but a money in the bank fight for Joe and if you think that "Victory" somehow enhances his standing in world boxing then you're as deluded as the Danny Green fans .

The phony can always be guaranteed to reach new depths of lameness :hi:

Beating bernard hopkins who was in the top p4p rankings of pretty much every list going and taking his lineal title at a new weight was pretty pathetic on his part, if only you could have popped down the road and talked him out of such a legacy destroying career move.

I'm pretty sure Roy was who he had wanted to fight for a long time and if you think it was a prime calzaghe who fought the kessler, hopkins and rjj fights then you are even more deluded than I have already come to know you are.

I don't believe you saw him fight amateur for a second you love making wild claims, next you will be saying you were working his corner. :hi:
