Joe Calzaghe vs Sergio Mora - '07

Who would win this fight? I haven't heard much about Calzaghe, I know he had a very close fight with an old Hopkins and beat a washed up Jones.

One of Calzaghes best wins is against Peter Manfredo, who Mora also beat twice (although I scored the 2nd fight for Manfredo). Both very similar fighters, long and lanky with fast hands and questionable defense.

What would have happened if Calzaghe fought the guy that won the Contender, instead of fighting the guy who lost on the reality show? Please Explain :good

 

I think Calzaghe would edge a close decision from what I've seen of both of them.

He fought the guy who went on to win the Contender, Sakio Bika.

 

Calzaghe by a mile. Calzaghe has never been south of 168, and Mora is at most a 160 lbs fighter when facing elite competition. Calzaghe by Wide UD or TKO.
