and about povetkin, are you crazy??? this guy could be the real deal, especially against vitali, i really think that povetkin would have a very big chance to beat vitali. povetkin is the most deserving contender with eddie chambers for years. povetkin beat byrd, donald, chambers, estrada... thats more then enough to qualify for a shot at vitali. what has james toney done? lose to a bad peters and couldn't finish a shot rahman...

 

I love Toney,,, but after Vitali's fiasco in Switzerland trying to solve the defense of Bowling-Pin Johnson the last thing he needs is another guy with great defense (and a atg chin),,,

Toney can't hurt Vitali even if he somehow reaches his chin ... and VK can't land anything flush enough to KO Toney,,,

= another mind-numbing Klitschko UD win, and another dent in Vitali's KO percentage,,,

The press conference is always good with James,,, but it's all down-hill from there.

James Toney had a very significant accomplishment at HW and that was beating Holyfield many years ago. Everything he has attempted after that has only tarnished his great boxing resume. He should have quit while he was ahead.

 

Vitali is such a terrible style matchup for Toney that it's not even funny.

But damn, it would be f'ing hilarious if two-ton Toney were to knock out Vitali, then make Max Kellerman cry & knock his mic out of his hand. hahahah
