    Dawson.

    Big, fast, decent power.

His engine is a bit of a worry, but I think he stands the best chance out of that list.

He has a chance. I'd have to favour Joe because i really rate the man as a ring general h2h, but he defo has a chance.

None of them except Dawson would have much of a chance. Dawson only because of his physical size and southpaw style. I'd still like Joe in that fight.

If Abraham was bigger, I'd give him a shot too.

Calzaghe would make Dirrell cry, and Pavlik wouldn't be able to touch him. Ward...I just think Calzaghe would out-Ward Ward. If Ward wants to play dirty, Calzaghe will play dirty. If Ward trys to out-think Calzaghe, he'll find that he's the one being out-thought. I think Ward in 5 years or so might have a much better shot though.

You need NONE OF THE ABOVE on the list!
    Bute I might consider.

Probably go for Dawson. I think he would handle Calzaghe's windmill style the best.

Abraham wouldnt be getting hit by much, but Calzaghe might be rackin up points hitting his guard.

Ward would have a great shout as well.

I think Pavlik in good form would be a hell of a fight as well.

Not sure about Direll, would have to see if he ever wants to fight.

A point of note, are there 5 guys on Calzaghe's record who are at that level?

Calzaghe would not have a perfect record if he fought these 5 guys.

    He might lose 2/5

calzaghe would lose to ward and dawson and dirrell could also give him a good fight. calzaghe never was any good against someone who could actually BOX

Yeah, but it'd probably be a split decision. People would argue that God got robbed, but I'd know Joe was just better..

Bute, Abraham, and Ward could take him. The supersix tournament is going to make the boxing public forget Calzaghe in fact the only place Calzaghe will be remembered is in Wales.

He would beat them all comfortably. Leagues above really. The toughest fight he would have is Dawson or Abraham. He would outwork Dawson and Abraham would barely land a jab, Calzaghe's reflexes were that good.

He won't be forgotten. For some reason people like to hate him. Can't see why. He was a good champion and highly skilled boxer. He is easily an ATG. He also seems like a top bloke, and drinks Stella Artois. Anyone who drinks wifebeater is sound in my book. :good
