Hey Divac, here's another right hand from MAB. Tell me that guy didnt have a right hand again? :)

I think your confusing MAB for Oscar, a man whos never hurt anyone with his right. :deal

I agree, me and Divac have had it out about that issue before.

That being said, I think Chavez was notably better at a few things. The right hand especially, he knocked guys out or knocked them down at least on a regular basis. He lead with it and still generated so much power, something I seldom if ever saw done by Marco, Likewise, Chavez could average twice if not three times as many body shots in a single fight than Marco would. He was systematic in going to the body, and he did with both hands. At his peak, Chavez simply could not be stopped. Rosario hit him with his best at 135lbs, and Julio walked through it all. A force of nature.

He would even double his left hook. He threw some awesome combos and rarely does he get credit for that. Personally pound for pound puncher of the 90's. I think someone needs to make a highlight reel of Chavez vs Mayweather, Rosario, Taylor, Camacho, Ali, and Haughen. When is the last time you saw a pressure fighter that could do what he could do against Elite fighters--never.

You think Pac was Morales biggest win??? How and why? Pac was barely a three division champion, had just gotten a gift against JMM, and was KO by two journeymen.

It wasn't untill after that Pac became a mega star.

it would be a battle. Manny has way faster hands but JCC hits so much harder. maybe JCC puts him away with body work.....if he can't catch him

You're just cheapishly just trying to save face now.....

Will you kindly backup, and point to us where anyone in this thread, said MAB simply was a one handed fighter.

You're the one who started this with "Chavez is'nt anymore two fisted than MAB.".......and then I took you to school on that matter.

Now you want to act like I initiated this whole debate by badmouthing and degrading MAB........I never brougtht MAB into picture, you did.

would be a hell of a fight. pacquiao has never faced a pressure fighter with the kind of chin chavez posses. pac has a chance because of his speed but chavez's body attack can slow just about anybody down. gotta go with chavez by late ko.

I am not crazy about Manny, but in no way or form would Chavez ever defeat him at any weight. If you want to talk about a bad Mexican, talk about Salvador Sanchez, my favorite fighter; Chavez is so over rated.

Errr how about when you implied that Pac cannot beat a top fighter with a right hand and those with right hands did beat Pac? By all accounts, MAB is very similar to Chavez, just not as good, you were quick to dismiss their similarity based on MAB lacking a right hand.

And again, MAB is a 2 handed fighter. Chavez just happens to have a much better right hand, I personally rate MAB's left hook better.

    You're even admitting it now.........

......and for the record, never in this thread did I say MAB was a one handed fighter........

What I did say is that any great and skilled two fisted fighter, the caliber of Chavez, Duran, JMM, and Mayweather would always beat Manny Pacquiao.......

.....thats what I said, but now you want to spin it like you were in defense of MAB, when in fact I never used his name until you mentioned that Chavez was'nt anymore two fisted than MAB, to which I brought out the youtube clip for a little bit of education!:deal
