Lol at you actually singling out Muhammad Ali when you look at some others on his list.

 

I have Ali at no2 only behind Robinson..... as did the experts that choose the OFFICIAL best ever 10 p4p boxers of the century.

You obviously dont like the man for whatever reason but dont walk around with your eyes closed, its obvious to anycunt with a brain that Ali was easily one of the best boxers in history in any division... there aint any worthwhile argument that says vice versa.... if you are being fair that is.

So you're saying Ali was a better fighter than Armstrong and Charles, fighters who we have sufficient footage of and had better careers.

The only 2 posters that I have come across that doesnt have Ali in their top 10 p4p are you & stonehands.... that tells me that if there is more than just you 2 then it almost definitely still means that THE MAJORITY still have Ali in their top 10.

I never meant that there is no argument for not having Ali above those guys, I meant that there is no argument for not having Ali in a top 10.... or at the very least its a very very WEAK argument that likely reaks of bias against the man.

 

Nope. As a matter of fact I had to force him into my top ten because of my bias for him, despite weight-jumping not figuring highly in my criteria.

 

No, there are arguments. The biggest is that there were better fighters than Ali.

I have him between 14-16, in my Tier 6 alongside McLarnin and Joe Gans.

 

Its just that I need good footage of a fighter, at least to compare with whats been written about them.

Id love to see footage of Greb & co.... I dont doubt they would make my top 10 but I aint going on opinions of others as to how good these guys were.

They deserve full respect but they still aint making MY PERSONAL list of fighters that Ive SEEN.
