The fight you are referring is more than 10 years ago where both combatants are at 112.

It is like comparing apples to lemons. The JMM fight is between a lightweight and a welterweight and at a catchment, and the welterweight did not even make the weight!

But to you, everything is equal?

It is not unusual for fighters not to make weight, as it happenbed hundreds of times, but the circumstance between a fight where he made a fighter who fights 2 divisions lower (3 divisions actually if you are referring to his best fighting weight) come up then not make weight is simply beyond acceptable (except to floydettes like you).

Floydettes are just grasping at straws. Now both Pac and Mayweather are equal because both are not able to make weight. What a way to rationalize things.

I waded through most of these pages of fact, fiction, bickering and biased drivel. Then I decided to post facts as they stand.....

Anyone who thinks Floyd can knockout Shane at 147 is a complete moron who's head is far enough up Floyd's ass to not realize the facts. The man went 24 rounds with a prime Viper Forrest and also fielded big shots from Mayorga, Cotto, Vargas, and DelaHoya. He only went down once and still finished the fight he went down in(and was in dire straits after being floored

So Floyd decides to outmaneuver and outbox(or run and potshot according to some) to beat Mosely(that's his best bet to beat him) then he won so get over it. Anyone else who expects him to willing stand toe to toe with Sugar Shane is an idiotic hater who would love nothing else than to give Shane the best chance of beating the smaller Mayweather.

Floyd and Shane have been playing ring around the rosie for years now when it came to facing each other. When one really wanted it the other didn't want it at the time or had bigger fish to fry(a fish named Oscar) It would take the implosion of a megafight and a natural disaster to finally get the two to fight. Mosley is the leper of the division after destroying Margarito and Floyd only had options that would draw hysterical laughter if he didn't pick Mosley.

Floyd AND Pac are responsible for the collapse of their megafight. I blame 75% on Floyd though. He made unprecidented demands on Pac and I have good reason to believe he had a good idea that he was aware of Pac's squemishness about taking certain tests. He wanted to use this as a psychological advantage. The rest of the blame is on Pac's team because they made bs contradictory statements that only roused suspicion and made them look ridiculous.

I said the following: I haven't seen much of Baldomir but if he turns out to be like say a Monzon, someone who is very awkward and is adept at controlling distance and timing fighters he could have a chance to beat PBF. I went on to say that PBF has no chance in hurting Baldomir so if Baldomir is more than meets the eye then Floyd could be in trouble.

That is what you got partially correct.

Now for what you get totally incorrect. Relentless I would tell some of the idiots on this forum Shane was my cousin NOT when I lost argument about Shane.......

But when some of you would NUTHUG SHANE to TEAR DOWN ANOTHER FIGHTER, or to show you FANBOYS that being objective is not that hard. Hell I can do it with my own cousin, you people can't do it with perfect strangers!

Shane lost to Forrest because of the headbutt........bullcrap!

PBF is scared to fight Shane........bullcrap!

Shane is a one punch KO artist.........no he isn't!

Some reading this post might wonder....hey where does this guy stand.

I stand with OBJECTIVITY! Nothing wrong with thinking Floyd will win and nothing wrong with thinking Shane will win.

But there is something wrong with being just another FREAKING FAN BOY!

Let me tell you the difference between myself and you. I think Floyd has been the best P4P since 2000. And he will still be the best P4P in my eyes even when he loses to Shane. Why?

Because P4P is not about head to head match ups, especially when one guy is smaller. PBF is at best a jr welter and Shane is full welter. And P4P is about VERSATILITY and OVERALL SKILLS......which PBF has Shane beat on. But that doesn't mean PBF beats Shane head to head, because size and durability do matter. Especially when natural talent isn't too far apart.

PBF is the best P4P now and since 2000 because his combination of talent and technique, both offensive and defensive is better than anyone else. And if size didn't matter (which it does of course) he probably wouldn't be beat by anyone currently out here.

I understood this in 2000 after Shane defeated DLH, I understand it now.

And it is why I supported Lance-Uppercut when he was on his crusade about PBF fighting Margarito. Because though PBF is more skilled that doesn't mean he is guaranteed to BEAT Margo at 147lbs.

Having better skill and talent doesn't always assure victory.


......but you get back to hating on PBF. I am sure he cares.
