Israel Garcia vs Solomon Haumono

I heard that this fight is going to be on the Tua undercard in Auckland. Does anybody care? Haumono lost to Whitehead. Was it a fluke, or is Whitehead that good? Garcia is Tua's sparring partner.

 

Dont know who Garcia is but I guess he would be ok to be sparring Tua

Garcia has had some good brawls in his time, but he is no world beater. This could be a good fight though in terms of action. I am actually looking forward to it. Though based upon the sparring vids, it looks like Garcia needs to drop a few before fight time. Still time to do that though.

Garcia does well until he steps up. He got stopped early by Arreola and Boytsov.

 

That about says it all.

 

it should be a decent scrap, garcia would beat most of the blokes on solos record

 

Tua at 0.15 throws such beautiful crisp body shots! in his sparring session

 

i think haumono is in for a very tough night.

this bloke took some ripper shots in the first two rounds against arreola and barely flinched.

he doesn't mind a strong tempo too by the looks of it.

but it is the sort of fight that solo needs too.

the wilson fight, the kirby fight and this one coming up will do more for him than the rest of his fights combined.

easy fights don't teach a fighter too much. it can also give them a false sense of their ability, which blows up in their face when all of a sudden when they go from fighting bums to someone with some decent skills.

i hope haumono does keep improving you just never know with the heavies, they can claim some big scalps without having to be world beaters.

 

i thought solomon took his sweet ass time stopping kirby. sitting ring side i believe he could of finished him earlyer. good win never the less.he will take that form & step it up even more to win this fight againts garcia.

 

I am actually looking forward to this fight. I think it will turn out to be a nice little scrap.

Solo's got a punch but the other guy will start to beat him up unless he gets hit with a Tua-sized shot early
