believe it or not this fight very well may happen in the future. if kessler can pull it back together he should beat froch and aa will lay him out stiff so froch may not be hanging around the S6 much after the 3rd round and kelly has said that he will permanently move up to 168 in the future. assuming froch doesnt hang'em up after the tourney, this very well may happen.

i know pav/bute is on hbo's mind but ****, if the timing doesnt work out for pav/bute and froch is still there...why not??

Cuz in the scenario you lay out Froch would have zero commercial value? :D

You're a typical limey frochette. Pavlik/Taylor II was one of the best peformances either man ever had. If you didn't know that, well, there probably isn't much hope for you to ever be anything beyond a frochette.

Doesn't matter. We are talking about Froch here.

I would love to see this war, I hope one day it can happen. It's a pick em fight to be honest.

I really hope this fight happens after the Super 6. I know a lot of people are counting Froch out because of his obvious flaws but that's what makes the scenario crazy. Froch SHOULD have lost by now. He should have lost to Pascal. He should have lost to Taylor. He should have lost to Dirrell (granted it won't take long for a "he did lose to Dirrell! response) based on how limited he is technically and athletically to those opponents. It would be an amazing fight.

Hell of a fight, and I bet it happens eventually. That could be a fight of the year.

I have no idea who would win. I'll have an idea after the super 6 though.

Great war. Hard to call but Froch is made to look bad often because he is stalking guys round the ring for 12 rounds who are running. Pavlik wouldn't do that so who knows. It would be toe to toe.

It wasn't close to as good for Pavlik as the first Taylor fight or the Miranda bout.

He looked average. There's a reason his team don't want him above the weight, though you obviously still rate him at the higher weights. You could teach Loew a thing or two, right?

    It's a good fight, but...

Froch is stronger, hits harder, is more fluid, has a better chin, wider range of punches and has better stamina.

Froch is as good as 168lbs as Pavlik is at 160lbs. I just don't think Pavlik has too much over Froch.
